  1. Protection from what? Dust and floating air particles? That's what eyelashes are for. Eyebrows are too high up for that. Protection from impacts? No, that's why we have recessed eye sockets. So when a caveman whacks you across the face with a log, he didn't put your eye out. Eyebrows don't add anything to that. I'm having trouble imagining why eyebrows evolved... What other mammals have eyebrows like humans?
  2. The only thing those gloves will ever match is 1960's hippy paisley...
  3. I once gave someone directions to the DZ through the back roads that included "turn right when you get to the house with the chickens in the yard". He doubted the usefulness of this landmark and instruction. But later on, he told it was right on! (Mostly, because there were very few houses in that area, but only one of which had chickens...)
  4. Answer: #1.5 Someone had to say it...
  5. I opened my reserve once at repack time, and out fell one of those cushioned plastic clamp tips. My rigger had it come off inside my pack, and either didn't notice it missing, or noticed but didn't bother to look for it inside my pack job. Hard to see how it could cause a malfunction, but it doesn't inspire confidence that such a thing could happen. And once that tip comes off, is the rigger now using those bare metal sharp edges on other canopies? Eeek!
