  1. It only gets better! Congrats and welcome. Waving off, jeff.
  2. There is no 12-step program for the sky. Welcome. Waving off, jeff.
  3. Congratulations and I know everything is going to go well for you!! I'm not scared of heights or flying, but I am scared of falling from a high place. I was never scared, though, during my first skydives...save one moment each jump. I dreaded the door opening. It's loud and unnerving. But once you start going through your motions, you don't have time to think enough to be scared...you're going to love it. Waving off, jeff.
  4. I'm not in the least bit sarcastic. I have NO idea how you could have come up with that. That's odd. Next time you are in Oklahoma, call me up. I'm always open to sweet, short little red head ladies calling me. Have fun though in Chicago and tell Dr. Strangelove to give me a shout. Waving off, jeff.
  5. Yeah, I know...it was a joke. Actually, it wasn't a joke...I'm just not very smart. Don't worry, someday I will hit you up for a place to stay (or a backyard to camp in). Until that day, take care. Waving off, jeff.
  6. Thanks for your input...I'm really grateful. You have a pretty big canopy in that thing...how big a guy are you if you don't mind me asking...? I'm a little large myself, (6'0" 230#) so I'm hoping that now by telling you that I have guilted you into replying. Anywho...talk to you soon. Waving off, jeff.
  7. Thanks for welcoming and thanks for the good luck. Did Benjamin Franklin really say that? God,I hope so. Waving off, jeff.
  8. Thanks for the welcome! I have always wanted to cave!! Could I e-mail you to talk about that? Anyway, thanks again. Waving off, jeff.
  9. Kris... Hey, we jumped together right before July 4th. My radio fell off in freefall and you helped coach my friend and I through the CATs. I did my graduation jump with Tony Cortez...who I hadn't jumped with since my 2nd jump. I hit it though. I graduated in the air and then landed short of the beer line, so I had to buy a bunch of sweet, sweet nectar. The tab alone was more than my jump. Talk to you soon, and thanks for looking me up. I'm sure I'll see you around and I'll be back to jump at Hinton after I get my license. Keep in touch. Waving off, jeff.
  10. I appreciate your welcome. Thank you. Waving off, jeff.
  11. I just read somewhere that your eyes lose a sense of depth perception after 1/2 a mile or so because of their position on your head. I don't know if that's true or not, but it sounds good anyway. I am timid of heights...the falling and hurting scares me. What was really unnerving for me (and still is to an extent), is when you are in the JM position and that door opens. YIKES! Especially in our Cessna! Double YIKES!! Waving off, jeff. Waving off, jeff.
  12. Thanks for the tip. Glad to know that if I ever get sick and tired of the HUGE EXPANSIVE METROPOLIS that is Cushing, OK...and their IMMENSELY GIGANTIC airport...I do have a backup plan. Hope to talk to you soon. I like red. Unless it's blood...then I faint. Cause I'm a girl when it comes to blood. Not that there's anything wrong with being a girl...it's just that...I...uh... Waving off, jeff. Waving off, jeff.
  13. Thanks for writing me. I am happy that I can drop a name in if I ever make it to Deland. Unless, of course, you've done something incredibly awful and they won't let me jump because of you. Then I would wish that I had never met you at all. Which I haven't. so... Waving off, jeff. Waving off, jeff.
  14. Thanks for welcoming me. I love Indianians. I do have a question for you. How do you like your racer? I think that's the container that I want to get...but no one at my DZ has one, so I don't know a lot about them. Again, thanks for writing me. I hope I don't become a stranger...or that I am one already and don't know it. That would really suck. Waving off, jeff. Waving off, jeff.
