  1. I tried to call, got no answer. Sent a text, no reply yet. I'm going to see what I can find out as an interested buyer
  2. Come join us for a laid back easy going weekend of skydiving. This is the first Fall boogie we have done in years. Well, people have been asking so here we go. We'll have at least an Otter. I'm not promising anything else however there is always the chance of a surprise. Nightly bonfires and live entertainment on Sat. night and possibly Friday night also. I expect this to be a scaled down version of the St.Patricks boogie but lets just see where it goes. Private packing and group tents will be available. Full RV slots and camping on site. Food, bathrooms and showers onsite. Hotels, restaurants and ChinaMart 1 mile away. Tandem jumps will be available for your friends who want to make their first jump. Please share and invite your friends. Other details will follow here, at FitzBoogie.com and on facebook https://www.facebook.com/events/1102711769756226/ FitzBoogie.com has not been updated yet but most of the info there applies
  3. It's on. October 8th-11th. Official post to come.
  4. Careful man. You're gonna butt hurt some newbie that thinks they have invented a new sport.
  5. Trees are usually peak during Bridge Day up there. A couple weeks later in North Ga.
  6. Hey now, don't be a hatin'. You fuck with him, you fuck with the whole trailer park.
  7. Looking at the 3rd weekend of October, 16th-18th. Probably single aircraft. Laid back weekend of jumping, bonfires, cooking out and camping.
  8. I use to fly a Seneca lll. It was a pretty good airplane. The ones and twos were underpowered. I wouldn't fly jumpers in any of them on a regular basis just because of the tail. I wouldn't fly jumpers in a S3 on a regular basis because of the turbos. Low volume + high maintenance costs = you're broke even if no one takes the tail off.
  9. Yeah yeah... Your butt doesn't hurt now, does it? David Lynch never offended my sensitive mind, this does. I have no idea what this post is supposed to mean. Is that picture supposed to offend me? Is that a mini you? I'm confused.
  10. Something to consider; family often finds the incident thread. It's not a matter of "butt hurt" for them. We can't expect them to maintain the same grim sense of humor that allows skydivers to continue jumping in the face of obvious risk and acceptance that it could be a friend or oneself on any given jump. On an open forum, we should keep in mind that we aren't always just talking amongst ourselves. But you are talking about something that has nothing to do with the incident. If people are too stupid to know how a forum works maybe it should be harder for them to log in.
  11. Seemed to me all the ones I knew that hurt people were the bigger ones, but we shouldn't be talking about this.
  12. Well there's your problem. I haven't had a single problem with my XP system since Microsucks stopped "supporting" it.
  13. First, Do what TK said. Second, stop flying the 18yr old pos Sabre.
  14. I must be missing something here. This person posts a video of a tandem instructor flying a passenger into a chain link fence and the answer is "Get out of here"? Yes shit happens sometimes but this is an incident in my book. Now to the OP. Was your neighbor hurt? I'm guessing they didn't just act like nothing happened at the time. Does your neighbor want their money back? Do they want to sue? What's your position in this other than being "put off"? Which for the record I couldn't give a damn about.
  15. Have you tried talking to the guy about why you have a problem with where the plane sits?
  16. USPA failed in trying to correct a problem we didn't have. Fixed it for you. The coach rating is the worst thing to happen to the sport since I have been jumping.
  17. The bell is a symbol, no more no less. I don't think I know anyone who believes in any mystical powers. It's a symbol of caring that one friend shows to another. As far as sending one with him, who knows. It means about as much as bringing a piece of the motorcycle to him. As for responsibility, Unless this guy was 10yrs old I see none. Even without knowing his experience it's not your burden to carry. He was an adult,he chose to get on the bike. About 4 yrs ago I organized a ride in north Georgia with a few friends. A good friend of mine and her husband decided to rent a bike for the ride. They had been thinking about buying one but had not pulled the trigger yet. Long story short, after riding fine for a few hours he washed out in a decreasing radius curve, they were both ejected over the guard rail and he was killed. My friend spent months in the hospital and rehab, almost lost her leg. She has since learned to ride and we ride together often. I carried guilt for some time. In the end, Neal over sold himself and entered into a situation he may not have been prepared for. With hind sight and experience are there things I would do differently? Absolutely!! Could I have foreseen what happened at the time? Apparently not. You are not going to find a sane person who will blame you for this guys decision.

  19. We've seen all of this before. As I recall it didn't work out well for the buyer.
  20. That's why there are different categories here.
