We have a $100 Tv thats old and a cheap ass DVD player. I got rid of cable 4 years ago and never looked back. I find that TV is like smoking. Once you quit you cant stand it anymore. Its just so fuckin bad. I can watch about 15min of TV. About the time I see the same commercial 3 times I snap and shut the idiot tube off. What do we do insted of TV? Well we have two big dogs and live in the mountains so we are never short on things to do. And I live minutes from Mount 7 where we paraglide off. Oh and lots of sex. Thats fun too.

I had a few flights from years ago, then last year we moved to the mountains and I bought a paraglider rig and made 6 flights last fall. I love it, so far nothing more than a 20min flight. This year will be better. Launching is pretty easy to learn, I showed my GF in a flat field with a light breeze and she got it up first time and ran across the whole lenght. Its fun and the nearest DZ is 3 hours away.

Wow I paraglide but I dont think I would fly a giant butterfly. Not my deal.

The part where is Dad said "I am sure gonna miss him when he kills himself" really bugs me. His own Dad is sure that Travis will die soon. In some ways I respect Travis and in some ways I think he is an idiot.

Iread the book years ago and we rented the movie last week. Amazing and touching story. I had to buy the soundtrack too. Eddie Vedder is amazing.

I hate clocks and watches period. I have a job where I can start whenever I get up! So I never have to set an alarm. I think its much healthier to go to sleep when you feel like it and get up when you feel like it.

Depends on a lot of things. How long its been, how long you go at it for, the mood is a big one too. Some are mind blowing others are meh.

I have been driving my 97 4runner for 2 years and have 225,00km on it. I use it for work and wanted something new so I bought a new Jeep Wrangler. I couldnt be happier. Five year/100,000km warranty. My 4runner needed some shit done, but if anything major would have happened it would be big bucks. Sure you loose on new vehicles, but by the sound of it you have spent a lot on an older rig. Depends on what you want. I can fix my own shit I just dont want to. I would rather drive around with the top off.

Looks too arcade for me. Plus I have an xbox360 or I would get it. I have BASE and its fun but boring after awhile.

Ha bought a house last year and paid cash. I dont have to worry about mortgage rates.I hate loans.

I took 3 months off in 06 and 1.5 in 07. Now I have a job where I work 4-6 hours a day! It rocks, Im not lazy I just hate working!

Pottery would be ok, not big on dancing. Maybe getting a better camera would be a good idea. We live in a valley surrounded by mountains. I dont think either of us would dig swinging!

We do listen to the radio, lite candles, talk lots, play cards, and do the nasty. We also spend lots of time talking. We also have our separate hobbies as well.

I agree that we depend on TV too much. Thats why we dont have cable or sat. We also have a shit TV and almost replaced it with a better one when my Bro bought me an XBox 360. But I would rather spend the 1g on something.

We live in a small town and dont have cable. The nights are starting to get boring. Sometimes we walk the mutts, or watch movies. What do you guys do with your nights?

I work for UPS in a small mountain town, sometimes it can be a real thankless job. I do my best to get my shit done every day. I normally leave a note with my home number. If its late I offer the customer to come by my house and pick it up after hours or on weekends. But some people are really nice and understanding. Especially in the boonies, the guy before me would not delivery out in the bush. I do, some people like me some dont. Like any job.

A year ago we rescued a dog. She is a Rotty shepard cross. When we got her home it was very clear that she wasnt trained in anything. And thats at about 2 years old. She is a very smart but very stuborn dog and training was very hard. Also she was not house trained. She also was peeing when lying down. Everyone was telling us to cage train her ect. Nothing worked. We took her too obedience class and dropped out near the end. A few months ago we had enough and talked about getting rid of her. She was just too much, with the lack of obedience and peeing all the time. Then on one of our walks she sliced one of her pads all the way through. We took her to the local vet who had a bad rep for many things. When he was looking at her paw I mentioned her peeing problem and he was the first one to have a solution and it worked almost immediatly. We were kinda hard on her and both feel quilty for even thinking about giving her up. So now we spoil her rotten, and the bond has become so much stronger. And in turn she has become a better dog. She still bites me in the ass sometimes, but now we cant live without her.

I was going to buy the home kit today when I found out you can listen on the web!! Saved 70 bucks!

Amazing book. Ken Follet is simply amazing, most of his books are. I took a break from reading after finishing this one.
