What has changed NOW is that if your 18 year old daughter goes to college, goes through an experimental phase, and has sex with a 17 year old freshman woman who said she was 18, the judge can decide to not permanently label her as a sex offender. And that's a good thing.
Does it not also reduce statutory rape for non-straight people to a misdemeanor? Equaling the previous for straight SR?

Fast forward to now, investigations have concluded that exactly zero bushfires were arson related.
Zero?
This from the BBC (https://www.bbc.com/news/world-51125898)
According to Australia's National Centre for Research in Bushfire and Arson, 13% of bushfires every year are deliberate and 37% are suspicious.
In the US state of California, 95% of wildfires are started by people - 7% of those by arson - according to Cal Fire, the state's fire service.
It sounds like they cannot make up their mind on the stats.
I would never have believed 75%
I was thinking more like 5%. 13% was surprising.

I still think 10 years is a bit much. 17 and 27 may be one thing, (and that's a big MAYBE) but a judge shouldn't have to waste time listening to arguments over a 14 and 24 year old. I mean wtf could they possibly say, that "she's wise beyond her years and that as a sexually mature woman she has the right to choose her lover? It's her body - she can have a baby and even abort it without parental consent, but she can't choose who the father might be? Outrage!"
I mean I know it's ridiculous, but things are different in this ever changing progressive landscape - young aspiring home makers are hip to women's rights these days. . .they catch on quick!
We align 100% on this.

Everyone who reads this forum recognizes it as your style.
What you wishfully think may have happened had circumstances been different is not in the same category as what did happen.
So prove me wrong.
Answer the questions.
It should be pretty easy to come up with the number of separations this guy had from Trump.
How many does it take? What - a minimum of 10?

Your comments on bias are irrelevant to the topic under discussion, and just throwing dust into the air.
He asked a pretty relevant question that you keep ignoring.
What specifics in the video do you disagree with?
Which do you have to admit are true?

I don't think it was.
He was told he would not be nominated. They told Bernie that but he didn't listen.

How, specifically?
What specific approval did he make?
What hiring decision did that spawn from?
Show exactly where, please.

Support “our” troops and it just happens to be Russian hardware by mistake? I’d be willing to bet that most stock pictures of cool military jets are of US warplanes
That is your Bias showing. That is likely what you would have tried to do. Not everyone thinks like you.

I'm mainly keeping track of the local ones which are mostly contained and have not been ruled arson yet, as far as I know. I can't imagine they will be because I was here for the lightning event in the Bay Area that started them. I've heard of one in Oregon reported as such. In 2018 a large fire near Ukiah was caused by arson. Anyway, where are you going with this?
Historically, there are political statements involved in the fires.

EDIT: Just to be super clear - by all means have an issue with the current law and penalties in question. I'm saying to not be sucked in with the clickbait telling you that Cali lawmakers are making it easier for pedos to dodge the register. That's a lie.
That isn't exactly what my friend the California attorney is saying.
I'll post his response when I get time.
As I understand it - It does Both. It lessens the penalty for all offenders and adds language for LGBT protection (Maybe should be called equality) since they were likely being over-penalized in relation to "straight" offenders, under the old wording.
But the jist of the reasoning behind it is two fold - Fairness, and, that there are too many cases to prosecute, so they are needing to lessen the burden on the courts.

This is not a school project where any old stock image is ok. It’s your president, a man you vehemently defend. You’ve got no issue with his incompetent staff using Russian pictures and yet you believe they are capable of making complex decisions?
What a joke... Goes to show what blind partisanship does to peopleI challenge you to see if Biden could even tell the difference, with out the media prompting him.
I'd be willing to bet he couldn't tell the difference between an AK and an M-14.
I'm sure that when you saw that ad, without the media telling you what to think, your very first thought was, Holy Fuck - "That's a MIG!!!" . . . . Right? Be honest.
OR - you could admit that you didn't even think about, or see the add before you were told what to think, and until someone gave you fuel to hate Trump even more.

I don’t see how you can have any shred of self respect defending that view. It is frankly such a slap in the face to the US armed forces, intentional or not.
Its sad.
You are looking so hard to find fuel to hate Trump.
Its funny from where I sit.
But also sad Nonetheless.

What a joke... Goes to show what blind partisanship does to peopleSo - I had a friend that worked for American Airlines as a project manager (Actually Sabre).
He was overseeing a web page and stuck a place holder of a guy riding a Harley with a sheep, in and forgot.
He admitted he was being lazy and just grabbed a pic. They made a big stink about it and he almost lost his position.
Should the CEO of Sabre be held accountable for the hello kitty? In closer comparison, should the director of the TSA be held accountable?
Do you really think that Trump had any say in the hiring of this individual?
Be realistic.

No - I don't.
That isn't to say he wouldn't.

Its a nothing-burger unless you need fuel for your hate.
Then by all means - use it for mental masturbation hating Trump.

18 hours ago, ScottishJohn said:Top Trump health aide warns of armed insurrection and accuses the CDC of sedition
The Department of Health and Human Services assistant secretary of public affairs, Michael Caputo, accused the CDC’s top scientists of “sedition” over their coronavirus pandemic response while warning that left-wing hit squads were preparing for armed insurrection.
Among the claims made during the stream is that the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) had a “resistance unit” to plot how to attack the president, that Joe Biden would refuse to concede the election, and that Trump supporters should prepare for an armed left-wing insurrection.
"When Donald Trump refuses to stand down at the inauguration, the shooting will begin… If you carry guns, buy ammunition, ladies and gentlemen, because it’s going to be hard to get.”
"Remember the Trump supporter who was shot and killed? That was a drill.”
While Caputo, who was made the department’s spokesperson in April, didn’t offer any evidence he may have access to that support his claims, they echo the sentiments of Mr Trump, who has said there is a “deep state” was slowing trials for a coronavirus vaccine.

This is nothing short of inciting violence.
Not really, but this is definitely asking for violence.
