  5. Hey Andy, I hear that there are lots of sr. care homes being evacuated for Hurricane Rita. You should consider a road trip down that way for some potential "dates"!! Hell, if you stand on the side of the road, it would be like your own private Mrs. America contest...you could even sing to them. I hear it helps soothe them when they are encountered with something uncomfortable and different....like DATING PAST THE AGE OF 70!!! oh..and I think you should come back to bob's comment with something about his height...that would be quite original!!! Kahurangi e Mahearangi, Kiwi, RB #926, AFF-I, FAA Snr. Rigger, RN/BSN/Paramedic
  6. Happy birthday, Mono Uno.... my you sip many a cockatilios tonight...and enjoy the time with Mrs. Blue...you dirty !! See you soon, Kahurangi e Mahearangi, Kiwi, RB #926, AFF-I, FAA Snr. Rigger, RN/BSN/Paramedic

I'm donating about 2 bags of clothes and a mess load of books this evening. I'm impressed by everyone's efforts..... ....well, almost everyones!!! Thanks for cutting that levy reconstruction bill, GWB!!! I'm sure you can count on LA providing some much needed votes on the RIGHT side next election......NOT!! 11. Pruitt - I saw your post first thing this morning, but purposely waited to reply so I thought this through carefully enough. I don't know where you're coming from with this: But I have only been negative towards you w.r.t. one area of your skydiving career....and I feel it is one I can speak of with a "little" bit more authority than those around you..... Someone with your jump numbers SHOULD NOT be flying a wingsuit....it's unsafe - both for you and for others. BUT did I stop you?? No!! I did express my deep concern...and I was wasn't the ONLY ONE who did that day either!!! A 120 jump wonder flying a BM suit is scary to other BM'ers....ask any of them you meet! BM guidelines are there for a reason. I would like to meet the dipshit who taught a 110 jump wonder how to fly it in the first place and tell him what I think of his common sense....but I don't fault you for it. As Lee points out: Your damn right that my experiences have helped shape my skydiving career...both what I have seen and done. I will venture to guess that my nearly 400 jumps over you and my scars put me in a good position to caution someone when I feel they are being over-zealous with their skydiving. Remember - I have been there too! I am not the only person in this position...but I can only HOPE that anyone else would caution you in the same way. If your ego views my concerns as criticism - then perhaps you should listen a little more carefully. I AM trying to HELP you!! I taught you the last half of your ground school...so if I see one of my "students" (in any capacity) doing something I feel is going to get them hurt - I WILL NOT sit back and let it happen. PERIOD If by your post you are saying to me that you would not like for me to be concerned about you in any way - then I will keep my concerns/opinions to myself....and I keep my distance from you in the future. If you ever ask/request/want my help in the future though - you know where to find me. Kahurangi e Mahearangi, Kiwi, RB #926, AFF-I, FAA Snr. Rigger, RN/BSN/Paramedic
  12. I wish the same could be said about your skydiving career overall!!!! Remember - always be safe....even at the risk of speed/efficiency!!! Kahurangi e Mahearangi, Kiwi, RB #926, AFF-I, FAA Snr. Rigger, RN/BSN/Paramedic

VERY BIG THANKS to Greg for showing up and allowing us to enjoy the day and weekend over all!! Spence - as always - I'll go whereever you happen to ROAM....always a good time to be had!! Glad the nose isn't broken...pay attention next time he says...."the bump tends to throw guides" PsychoBob - hope the finger gets better...and sorry about all the weather. Glad to catch up with you...and hope to see you soon friend. Jumpchikk - you will always have the best D-cups I've ever seen.....know why?? Cause I got to take them with me!!!!! What more could a man ask for!!! You crack me up, countrygirl....see you soon. Bolas....errr....CARROLL - your first name is still dead to me...but with a middle name like that - hell - "it's alive.....alive!! Thanks for being my personal courier....I owe you one. But I'm not paying for your new phone!!!! ATL FF Crew & Friends - thanks for letting us crash your party on Sat night...it was fun to hang out with y'all both days when we did. Catch up with you individually - as events and times dictate.

Spent my 16th birthday in a dr's office getting the "magic wand"....I can tell you from personal experience - it's not fun. Turned out to be a quick bout with chlamydia(?sp)....she didn't know she had it...and even after didn't test positive for it. Apparently most women carry without ever showing a sign/symptom....so ladies - there's a little tidbit about yourselves you may not know. You may not always transmit - the receptor has to be "susceptable" to it.....who knew! P.S.....it's gone now! Kahurangi e Mahearangi, Kiwi, RB #926, AFF-I, FAA Snr. Rigger, RN/BSN/Paramedic

  18. Everybody be sure to make it out for Saturday's jumping....Pyke and Bobster will be doing their 500th & 400th jumps, respectively. We'll spend all week thinking of something stupid/silly to do on it...all you have to do is be there to share in the fun...and celebrations later! Kahurangi e Mahearangi, Kiwi, RB #926, AFF-I, FAA Snr. Rigger, RN/BSN/Paramedic
  19. No ccowden...I won't be on your team. Quit PM'ing me...I'm at work. I'll see if my friend Bobster will join your little VRW effort....he's not that good - so he should be about your level, but he can make an awesome base.....lord knows he falls fast enough!! Kahurangi e Mahearangi, Kiwi, RB #926, AFF-I, FAA Snr. Rigger, RN/BSN/Paramedic
  20. Really - I was wondering the same thing myself. That's fine Chris....if you can't face the facts....well - I still have a drink with you when we're on the ground afterwards. Hell - I'll even let flirt with my friend, Chaoskitty, just to make you feel special. She has a special way with men who feel inadequate about their flying skills....just ask Bobster!!! Kahurangi e Mahearangi, Kiwi, RB #926, AFF-I, FAA Snr. Rigger, RN/BSN/Paramedic
  21. Fine....suit yourself. Don't think for one minute that I will share with you anything that I have been taught by....oh....I don't know....members of FIRST PLACE VRW COMPETITION TEAM!!!! Yeah - that's right - in order to play with the best you have to learn from the best.... ...so while you're up in NJ dilly-dallying, lolly-gagging, & otherwise playing grab-ass with those crazy local boys....I'll be surpassing your already tired skills and winning all sorts of medals in VRW. How's my dust taste?? Kahurangi e Mahearangi, Kiwi, RB #926, AFF-I, FAA Snr. Rigger, RN/BSN/Paramedic
  22. Okay look.....I'll try to make myself available for some coaching jumps for you, but just remember.... this is a boogie for me too....I can't spend all my time coaching you on FF'ing techniques. All your whining and pestering was really getting to me in Dublin, but I just didn't have time to jump with you. Hell - if you're nice enough this time...I won't even make you cover my jump tickets. Yup - I'm that nice! Kahurangi e Mahearangi, Kiwi, RB #926, AFF-I, FAA Snr. Rigger, RN/BSN/Paramedic
  23. Hell yeah.... I'm working on a costume to for Kaha too - should be something extraordinary...good for some photos!! See you all there! p.s. Tami - are we still making out later??? You promised me in Rantoul...and well - you were always busy cookin'! I'm making good on it for Halloween...I figure if I dress up like Scotty - you won't know the difference...and I'm in there!!! Kahurangi e Mahearangi, Kiwi, RB #926, AFF-I, FAA Snr. Rigger, RN/BSN/Paramedic
  24. I second Bob's responses... Adding - it sounds like you're not travelling too far from home (or even travelling at all) so don't sweat it too much. If you're known to the organizers...even better. They can help put you with low time jumpers who are all working on the same stuff and it will be more fun and more social for you. Again - don't be shy. If you see/hear of an experienced jumper hanging around - ask them politely for a 2 way...get them to coach you on something/anything. Be honest with yourself and them about your skills. Don't be too big for your britches....no matter how cool they say it will be. Be weary of them trying to do too much...I've seen a 50-60 jump wonder trying to get a 10 jump wonder to exit headdown and then try to sit-fly (I personally put an end to that jump).....if something similar to that happens....WARNING Consult an organizer, or simply find a coy way of getting off that particular jump...this person doesn't have YOUR best interest in mind. If they have attitude & won't jump - it's them not you - most won't though (although they may back out b/c it's a boogie for them too!). More often than not - they will jump with you & won't even charge you a jump ticket (I never do). Not only will you make a new friend - you'll learn something in the process. Be safe under canopy also...I was nervous the first time I was on a dz with a plane bigger than a Cessna...not to mention petrified at Rantoul! If they're running multiple aircraft, or multiple jump runs (common in Rantoul) than just keep your head/wits about you. oh yeah....AND HAVE FUN!!!!! (esp. afterhours!)
