  1. Hey guys, Just got my A license on Monday and I'm planning my brothers bachelor party in Las Vegas in about a month. I want to take him skydiving for the first time and be on the same load as a fun jumper. Any suggestions near or around Vegas with good rental gear that allows fun jumpers? The only one I saw was tandem only. Suggestions and tips are very much appreciated. Thank you!
  2. Hey guys, I’m taking a trip to Australia in February of 2017. I’ll be in Brisbane, Golden Coast, and Sydney. If anyone has jumped in or around those areas, please chime in and fill me on the best spots to jump Also, I’ll be traveling light so I won’t have a rig. Hopefully someone on here knows where I can get a few fun jumps in, and rent a rig. Thank you!
  3. Hey guys! I’m relatively new to the sport and want to purchase my first rig by the end of the year! Just a little about myself, I’m 5’9 and 175lbs and am thinking of getting a 170 main. So, Dropzone, what say you? I know the “best” gear probably doesn’t have a 1 size fits all answer — as the same would be true with anything else; like cars for example. I’m really just looking to educate myself and perform my due diligence on brands and their respective pro’s and cons before I plop down a sizable chunk of coin for my own rig. Anything is welcome and would help this n00b out considerably. Thank you very much!
  4. Hey guys, I’m currently working on my A license and fresh out of AFF with 14 total jumps. The issue I’m having is accuracy and standup landings on a 220 main. When I was in AFF I could put a 260 down like a butterfly with sore feet. But, now that I’ve down sized to a 220 every landing I’ve had has been fast, always over shot (no matter where I start my final), and ends with me PLFing or looking like a ballplayer sliding into home plate. So, I would like to ask the collective consciousness of Dropzone.com to see what advice you might have to a complete n00b to improve accuracy and safety under canopy. Thank you!
  5. Hi guys, I’m a new AFF grad, 5’9, 170lbs with 11 total jumps and one cut away. I want to get into free fly jumping while I work towards my wing suit. Assuming money is no object, what kind of rig should I get thats worthy of free fly, avoids premature deployment, and can help me transition into swooping and high-performance canopy maneuvers later on. Any rig advice on size, make, model, etc. would be greatly appreciated since I’m very new to this sport. I’ve heard a 190 might be great for me, but I always like to get multiple opinions. Currently I’m used to flying a 260 main and I’ve also flown a 220. Anything helps, guys. I appreciated it! Thank you!
