  1. Democratic Representative Henry Cuellar, who represents Texas' 28th district, which covers an area from the Rio Grande to the suburbs of San Antonio, has admitted that the Obama administration tried to keep the child migrant crisis quiet.

"It was kept very quiet under the Obama Administration. There were large numbers of people coming in. The Obama Administration was trying to keep this quiet." Cuellar told CNN's Fredericka Whitfield.

Also from Cuellar: "We still see the numbers, not all of them are being separated. Some of them are coming alone."

Also this: "Keep in mind that under the law, you can separate a child if that person, the adult, is not the real parent or the custodian because sometimes we see situations where they'll bring a child because they know of the policy that we have over here with children."

In fiscal year 2013, under the Barack Obama administration, the HHS Office of Refugee Resettlement had as many as 25,000 unaccompanied children in its care across 80 shelters. The number represented a huge jump from 2011, when the ORR had just 53 shelters housing 6560 kids.

Now a look at 2018... The Department of Health and Human Services' Administration for Children and Families spokesperson Kenneth Wolfe told Newsweek that it had as many as 10,852 undocumented children in its custody.

Imagine that. A Democrat admitted that it was way worse under Obama but there was no outrage because they tried to keep it quiet. Now Trump is the POTUS and the Democrats are throwing anything and everything at him. They're desperate to gain any edge in the 2018 elections.

    Eat shit, libbies. :P

***There has been a lot of outrage directed at Trump over this policy of separating children from their illegal immigrant parents. All over a policy signed into law in 1996 by BILL CLINTON, a DEMOC-RAT. Oh and that pic of the kids being caged? That is from 2014, when Obama was POTUS.

Man, the liberal bias in here is so bad, it's pathetic. :D

Holy shit, buddy, do you think we should be doing this and should we stop or are you just interested in deflecting blame from Trump? We'll address the second half of that question later, the first part seems a bit more important.

My question is, where was all the outrage when all of this was happening during Obama's time? Thousands more kids were separated under him than under Trump. Obama just kept it quiet, THEN the libtards blow the whistle on Trump with a 2014 picture of kids in a cage. The irony....

  4. Here's what I think of Russiagate so far...

Clinton believes she's gonna win. FBI, CIA, DOJ all believe it too, but they'll collude to make sure she does just in case.

Trump wins anyway. All anti-Trumpers are outraged. THEN the scheming starts, to blame Trump and the Russians for rigging the election, and start railroading people.

In the end, karma is going to win, and Trump wins re-election in 2020 in a landslide.

    The End. :P

Trump reveals one of his reasons for meeting with Kim:

"He speaks and his people sit up at attention. I want my people to do the same."

So he wants the US to be more like North Korea. And who better to learn from than Kim?

That was said tongue in cheek. Of course, in North Korea, if you don't sit up at attention, you get strapped to an anti-aircraft gun and get blown to smithereens, or attacked by a pack of dogs. If you think Trump is going to threaten anything similar, I'm gonna laugh.

    ******… I answered

I don't think that word means what you think it means.

The WH is looking for a replacement for Sarah. Maybe Marc?

She isn't going anywhere. Fake news. And she hilariously belittled Jim Acosta at the press conference over that. Best Press Secretary I've seen at handling dumb ass questions from the press.

  7. Phil1111

Come on dude. MSM is pretty much against anything Trump does. They're following an anti-Trump agenda. Hardly any of them ever report the news fairly. CNN is a dumpster fire. Acosta was a fucking idiot at the Singapore summit, yep caught with a hot mike muttering expletives, after screeching a question at Trump and KJU but not getting an answer. :S

    Y'all are triggered.

Triggered? Is that what you call it when you resort to vulgarity and people answer back? At least you are slightly more clever than Marc. Even though you both keep claiming how "hilarious" you feel we are as you express your anger.

Remember the Cuban missile crisis? The "libtard" JFK handled that without starting a war. I'm doubting Trump could.

Remember when the libtards said Trump was gonna lead us to WWIII or a nuclear war last year? Even as early as this January and February? Doesn't look like its gonna happen now.

  9. Y'all are triggered. :D

Funny. I don't remember any criticism from liberals when Obama met with another murderous brutal dictator from Cuba who also oversaw a police state and killed/jailed his opponents.

Fucking libtard double standard. It's hilarious. :D

***LOL... typical liberalistic spin. Tell me, would you be saying the same exact thing if it was Hillary Clinton in Trump's place, doing exactly the same things? I do not think so. Trump derangement syndrome is a real thing. :P

Kim Jong Un wanted this badly. If you were the leader of a country looked down upon for 70 years by the eminent superpower of the world, how annoyed would you be, when you wanted to be recognized and not getting it?...

Now, I'm not saying any new deal we make with Kim Jong Un and his regime is going to change anything, when we know that all deals in the past were flushed down the toilet by the regime. Move ahead cautiously with sanctions still in place and see what happens in the future.

Will KJU give up his nukes? Good question. I'm going to lean towards no. .

Kim has conceded nothing. trump gave the game away.

Spin it however you like. I don't care. Trump isn't going to give anything up for nothing. He's a businessman, not a limp dick politician like Obama.

  11. LOL... typical liberalistic spin. Tell me, would you be saying the same exact thing if it was Hillary Clinton in Trump's place, doing exactly the same things? I do not think so. Trump derangement syndrome is a real thing. :P

Look, this is just the first summit between the two. I'm sure there will be others, but this was the ice-breaker and a hope of putting the past behind. Kim Jong Un wanted this badly. If you were the leader of a country looked down upon for 70 years by the eminent superpower of the world, how annoyed would you be, when you wanted to be recognized and not getting it? History shows it, with all the bombastic, uppity behavior and saber rattling. Maybe, just maybe, our past methods of regarding them as the scum of the earth that's not to be trusted ever, wasn't ever going to lead to anything positive.

Now, I'm not saying any new deal we make with Kim Jong Un and his regime is going to change anything, when we know that all deals in the past were flushed down the toilet by the regime. Maybe, just maybe, with Trump meeting Kim Jong Un face to face, we can see a change in the dynamics between the two countries for the better. Move ahead cautiously with sanctions still in place and see what happens in the future.

As far as I'm concerned, KJU is still a fat murderous shitbag leader of a country with an abhorrent human rights record, but I'd like to see the tension in the region cut down and see if we can't all get along somehow.

Will KJU give up his nukes? Good question. I'm going to lean towards no. Not all of them. But if the new relations moving forward stops him from threatening the US and its allies, then that's a step forward in the right direction.

***Pretty easy to get them to plead guilty when you threaten them with additional charges if they don't.

Really? These aren't poor, high school dropouts caught with an ounce of pot who are relying on flawed advice from a Public Defender who can't budget more than 45 minutes of work on their case.

These are educated, successful, wealthy people with well paid lawyers who have lived their entire adult lives inside the system. Hell, these are people who are the system. If the threat of additional charges is enough to make them plea-deal, it's going to be because they know those extra charges are legitimate and provable.

So really, what your argument sounds like to me is "Sure a bunch of Trump campaign associates have been indicted and/or found guilty - but it's ok because they've actually done way more crimes than they were charged with!" Is that the effect you were aiming for?

You're underestimating the power the FBI and other federal agencies wield, when someone has an axe to grind.

Supreme Court rules on this case. CNBC says it was a narrow victory for the baker. 7-2 Was the vote. Common Sense can the Constitution prevails! The baker has his rights!

And let's not forget that the couple drove 120 miles past 67 secular-owned bakeries, as well as 6 bakeries owned by Muslims, just to get to the one bakery owned by Christians.

Sounds to me like they wanted to pick a fight with them in court.

    >You know, speaking of TV news programs, it's quite telling, the direction this nation is
    >going, when Hannity on Fox News has the highest rated news show . . .

That's nothing. The Walking Dead has over twice the viewers as Hannity.

I'm talking about News channels. I don't even watch TWD. It's completely irrelevant to the discussion.

  15. PhreeZone

Hannity is not a news show, its an opinion same with a few others on that list.

The point stands. Look at the list. CNN is becoming irrelevant. They have become so anti-Trump it's SAD!

McDonalds sells more burgers than anyone else. Does that mean they have the highest quality burger?

What does that have to do with politics?

  17. billvon

    >And exactly none of them have anything to do with Trump collusion or Russia.

Four were Trump campaign members who lied about their dealings with Russia. Three have pled guilty to their crimes.

    Try again!

Pretty easy to get them to plead guilty when you threaten them with additional charges if they don't. I have a feeling the real truth hasn't come out, but it will one day.

***I find the stuff on here useful, even if the wider world doesn't care. I usually just lurk on SC for the latest summaries and news about the formerly unimaginable events of the Trumpworld "Presidential" Reality Show. Compiled by people who clearly follow events closely and have good memories & data sources, and clear reasoning, I find the info the most concise and useful around.

Unfortunately only rarely are there right wingers around who have reasoned arguments that actually encourage one to see things from another viewpoint or highlight issues that might otherwise get glossed over.

Most of the right-wingers have been run out of here by the vitriol of the left. I'm one of the few long-termers that have stuck around. Don't post as much as I used to I just point out the hypocrisy and the blatant lies.

I come here for the synopsis of the likes of CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, and MSNBC. Just a couple posts and you have it all. The talking points of those left-wing media sites are parroted here very quickly!

You know, speaking of TV news programs, it's quite telling, the direction this nation is going, when Hannity on Fox News has the highest rated news show, and Fox has 14 of the top 20. And then there's CNN's top show, Anderson Cooper 360, sitting waaaaay down there at 24. People are getting tired of CNN's bullshit. :P

The GOP now has a fifth cause of gun violence in schools. (None, of course, have anything to do with the easy availability of guns.) From Texas we already learned that:

    -video games
    -too many doors
    -not enough Jesus in schools
    -abortion

    causes gun violence.

Now from Rep. Diane Black of Tennessee we have the latest scapegoat that has nothing to do with guns.

"Why do we see kids being so violent? What's out there? What makes them do that? Because, as a nurse, I go back to root cause. And I think it's a couple things. . .Pornography. It's available. It's available on the shelf when you walk in the grocery store. Yeah, you have to reach up to get it, but there's pornography there. All of this is available without parental guidance. And I think that's a big part of the root cause, that we see so many young people that have mental illness get caught in these places."

So video games, too many doors, abortion, not enough Jesus and porn will all lead to gun violence, even if you can't get your hands on a gun. Guns have nothing to do with it.

LOL nobody buys porn magazines at the store anymore, not when free porn is available on the internet.

The issue is parents not doing their damn jobs of raising their kids, keeping guns out of their hands and teaching them to respect others, and stand up for themselves the right way. You'd see school shootings return to 70's and 80's frequencies which were pretty low, but of course, you're never going to eliminate them completely.

    1. Given that Daniels hasn't once been shown to have lied about this, whereas both Trump and Cohen have provably lied several times to the public about the existence of a contract and their knowledge of a contract?

    What do you think?

    1. Again, refer to Stormy's correspondence in the attachments I reposted. So, which story is correct? She says nothing sexual happened. Then she says it did? Which is it? Everybody lies.

    2. I've seen enough about Avenecetti to conclude he is simply a media whore looking for fame, the male equivalent to Gloria Allred. And he'll say anything if it benefits him or his client. Lawyers lie all the time. FACT. Do you really want to debate that? Give me a break. :D

    >Say what you want about Trump, but I dare say that this would not have happened if Hillary had
    >won. . . . . Well done, Trump. Give that man the Nobel Peace Prize.

    Yeah . . . so, about that . . .

Yeah well, this is all on Kim Jong Un and his stooges. Getting all snippy... Ever think of the possibility that Trump weaseled the three Korean American prisoners out of North Korea? That's a slap to KJU's face.

Hell, Trump even trolled KJU in this official letter. :D
