  1. yup presuming you were batchmates Anyways didn't get this...are you giving it to media right away?
  2. Now you are telling me .... Oh, you can make a buck at Kindle by regurgitating the case. There are Cooper books aplenty at Amazon, and all of them sell here or there to a degree. Just don't be stupid enough (like me) to spend more than ten grand of your own money chasing a suspect... And then be even stupider (I guess) by turning down $2,500 from History Channel...(because I thought my appearance would be more credible if I did it for free) And another $1,000 from Comcast Sports for the Adrenaline Hunter episode with Bethy Rossos...(Same reason. Had more fun on this one because Bethy jumps from an airplane over the woods with an extra 22 pounds of cargo. Her first time skydiving, it was cool.) Picture attached from that. I have provided an unedited copy of the report to the Tacoma News Tribune. I was going to start with the Seattle Times, but they are sort of lacking in email addresses for the prime staff. Mostly phone numbers. "Turn down money"...Which school did you go to? One of my Uncles was working for Forest Dept types and was assigned as investigator in a case where the Vendor was charged with cutting/using more of the wooded area than was allotted to him. When the inquiry began he approached this uncle with bag full or cash, asking for favors. Uncle refused but it turned out later that he was indeed on the right side and was acquitted. Uncle forever wondered as to why he even approached him with cash! And I am sure he did regret turning it down as well True story!
  3. Robert, there's no link for pdf? It's a confidential document. Contains many folks' contact information, etc. We have to give the Seattle FBI a chance at it first. A few other people have seen it, but only ones we know and trust. Sorry...for now it has to be that way. I'll post up the public document that contains the main points. All I can do.

  6. Wow Robert the cartoons are super fun...loved the Marla1 & Blasted. Blasted is especially sarcy...good on Cooper may not have left ... couldn't deny that it did cross my mind too and for exactly the same reasons as you said... people have done far worse and have still stuck around. I read an interview of Co Pilot (I guess the Porteous one only) in which though he straight away refused McCoy, he sounded a bit shaky about KC so well...I guess no one can be too sure. About the case, I doubt the flight path is incorrect. I think these variables are added later on. It is very difficult to get a flight path incorrect for such a case where enough people were watching & monitoring. Again Citizen Sleuth guys also stated that it is likely correct. I guess Tena Bar Money is the most baffling aspect of the case and whoever solves it solves the case. Culprit clearly is lost now, maybe even dead.
  7. Maam, if I am not wrong, Mucklow did not sit with Cooper on way to Reno and the conditional flying guidelines were given only for that leg...in which case what you stated above is contradictory. A question to Cooperonians: Can't an airline simply serve a spiked drink or something...u know to simply pass a hijacker out? (I mean the green bag can simply have a sandwich in it ) Besides I know the following is a party pooper however I don't think Cooper or anyone in their right mind will continue to live in US after committing such a crime. At the risk of repeating myself KC, Webber & likes are ruled out simply on those grounds.
  8. Hmm...this is interesting! I've read a few of your earlier posts which also spoke about the "scar"...however I have to admit I didn't hear about it anywhere else. Also I missed the point about the source of that info? Again, I had no idea that Cooper warned the pilot when they crossed 10000 ft limit. If so he clearly had altimeter, I mean you can't just guess it. But again what's the source of info? PS: I like the passion on this forum. While researching I did think many times to drop the topic and move onto to something else but the arguments here kept me bringing back and I have to admit kept in interested.
  9. Thanks Reichenbach, noted...will correct these . Besides, I remember having read somewhere that Cooper mentioned that he had an altimeter...isn't that correct? Hey, I just wanted to say that I only commented so Cooperites (Cooperonians?) don't jump on your back, haha. I know exactly how much hard effort and work goes into creating something and about how easily someone can rip it apart in two seconds. It seems to be human nature to pick out the negative so I just wanted to state to you, good work! Chill dude...Iam with ya ...I like this forum, despite the rants, it can be quite informative too. Cooperites (or Cooperonians), again urging to have a look at the satire:D.B.Cooper mystery … finally solved? here: [url] https://thousandthingsinmyhead.wordpress.com/2015/01/24/d-b-cooper-mystery-finally-solved/ ...can be funny even if I say so myself (hmpff it better be clickable)
  10. About face to face meeting, I am not sure either but if you get confident info somewhere, do let me know. I'll correct it. I have gone through the printed radio transcripts of the whole hijacking up to the point of departure from Seattle to Reno, the ARNIC radio transcripts, Himmelsbach's book, and Tosaw's book without finding a mention of that face-to-face meeting. Nevertheless, I do remember seeing it somewhere in printed form. If I ever find the source, I'll let you know. Robert99 Iam embarrassed to admit however this info seems to be from Wikipedia...so basically baseless. And you are right about FAA and not FBI
  11. Thanks Reichenbach, noted...will correct these . Besides, I remember having read somewhere that Cooper mentioned that he had an altimeter...isn't that correct?
  12. Thanks Matt ...I am not a complete dud..but clearly am half way there :P
  13. Thousandthings, Those cartoons are nice. And your statement about Jeppesen is correct as those charts were preferred by airline and professional pilots over the standard government charts. However, the aircraft you show in the cartoon is a McDonald-Douglas DC-10 (or maybe a DC-11) which came along about a decade after the Boeing 727. And despite all the horror stories you have heard, there is nothing in the weather records to indicate that such a storm actually happened. In fact, there is nothing in the records to indicate any clouds above the 5000 foot ASL overcast and the airliner was flying at 10,000 feet ASL. If my memory is correct, it was an FAA (not FBI) man who wanted to meet Cooper face-to-face to tell him that he was getting into trouble by hijacking that airplane. I suspect that Cooper was already aware of that. Robert99 Robert, you are right about the weather. I read about it only recently in one of Blevins posts, unfortunately by then the comic was already finished. I am making a longer and detailed version as well which goes all the way till say here (hoping to include some of the rants at DZ as well, if permitted), will do the correction there. That'll take anywhere between a few weeks to months depending upon how much I get. About face to face meeting, I am not sure either but if you get confident info somewhere, do let me know. I'll correct it. Thanks for reading it!
  14. ***An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!! I didn't get if this is your signature or a message to me
  15. Hey guys... I dropped onto this zone as I was researching for Dan Cooper for making a comic strip. Thanks for all inputs, I greatly enjoyed reading it and will keep dropping in every once in a while. Here's a summarized version of the comic strip if you wanna have a look: https://thousandthingsinmyhead.wordpress.com/2015/02/17/d-b-cooper-part-2/
  16. ***This 'flood of 79-80' could be another Cooper myth, kind of like the one that says there was a big storm the night Cooper jumped...which the records at Weather Underground for November 24, 1971 debunk as well. Are you saying it was a clear night? Or am I not getting it correct?
  17. ***Maybe the Watergate guys teamed up with the folks who killed JFK, MLK, and Bobby Kennedy to pull off the hijacking...then used the Cooper ransom to pay off their lower-level minions...Smile ROFL
  18. Yo? Are you like a gangster now or something? Look, Bruce...not to be picky but 'habib' is an Arabic word meaning 'sweetheart,' or it is used as a surname by many Arabs. A 'hajib' is what you probably refer to. That's the scarf. Or maybe a chador, a shaylar, etc. all the way to the traditional burka. But not a 'habib'. We don't want to insult any Arabs who might visit the thread. And no terrorist jokes, please. No big deal, you almost got it right anyway. To Thousand Things: I don't know how long you've been interested in the Cooper case, but there is a community within the people who investigate the case, or are fans of Cooper. These people inhabit a place I call Cooperland. And here's The Illustrated Primer on it by yours truly. Hint to Bruce Smith: We only LOOK stupid around here. "Sometimes a newbie comes aboard with innocent questions, but they don't usually stay long." ....me being one ... ROFL
  19. (First, I would shoot me in the head if the quote & my reply do not show separately this time ... it gets too confusing without it ...even for me) Anyways honestly your conviction on KC kinda makes me both wonder and nervous. I am also a non believer that KC could be Cooper, however you have researched the subject and I am curious to read the reasons why you place him so high. Besides here are my reasons for why I do not believe it was KC: 1. Maybe I am placing too much importance on FBI, which obviously has taken the "my way or highway" approach by declaring and insisting that Cooper died in the jump (despite McCoy & several others surviving similar feats) than humbly accepting that "this one we just couldn't crack". So as far as credibility goes may be I shouldn't place so much on them however like you said they are the "entity" in the matter and thus they do matter. Anyways, to solve this is not a choice to FBI (or at least so I hope), if KC were to be Cooper, why would one has to go to the lengths which you already have and more, to prove such to FBI? 2. Wouldn't Florence, Tina, Mitchell or someone would've recognized him? Someone stated on shutter's that your book says that Tina & KC flew together (I have questions around that too however I have not read your book yet so I rather keep mum till then), wouldn't she had figured out? 3. Lastly (and this one is purely inspired by watching too much Bourne series), with not even a whisker on his face, Cooper should be a man of immense confidence and knew he could blend in. In the sense, he wasn't just pulling it off. An NWA employee, current, previous, ever ... exactly how he solved the equation of going unnoticed? or Worse running into them? I think this may also be coming from the FBI statement "if you are planning to go back to work on Monday ..." Get real, one can't! By disposition doesn't he seem like someone from intelligence / spy kinda background? Someone who got trained by system and then played it ...
  20. I'm sure he was just playing a minor joke on you when he offered to give you the answers to the Cooper case in exchange for details on your sex life. It was a joke, and a lead-in to his cartoon. But I am not here tonight to discuss all that, not really. I want to address the issues between two websites dedicated to D.B. Cooper: My gawd … that’s a lot of history. Anyways no disrespect to anyone, I myself have moved to shutter’s blog and I thought you were there too… anyways. As for me, I respect your opinions primarily coz its very different from mine, which is good as it gives a perspective to me. Deleting a thread only coz of some miscreants is truly a loss and if my voice is worth anything than I would suggest let’s not do that. Also all these are emotional outbursts and have little to no bearing on the subject matter at hand and I think that is the main problem. But anyways honestly on this blog I see only 3 people right now and besides you, I find others too juvenile to even read.

I am clearly not as informed as you guys however whatever little I know, I am open for an intelligent debate. Unfortunately I notice more of needless debate on unrelated topics & personal propaganda here, which I have no interest in.
  22. Yo, A-K Thingy, I don't get it. Who is Loki, and what does he/she have to do with my sex life? BTW: I'm not into habibs, you know, the Islamic scarf thingy that Muslim women wear. Okay, still trying to find out the connection between Loki and my sex life. Google first, then Wikipedia: [words spoken to you can be described in one simple word "waste" ... so all I can say is keep trying ]
