Ratings and Rigging

  • Pro Rating
    Yes
  1. You'd rather sandpaper a lions ass in a phone booth than mess with me boy.
  2. Please be careful if you remove the spark plugs and spin the engine over. If there is gas in the cylinders, it will shoot out and can catch on fire from the spark plugs or wires.
  3. My favorite dog was a sheep dog named Woodger. Also had one named Scooter. Now we have a cocker named Boomer. Had a cat years ago named Woobie. Lots of others, but that's enough for now.
  4. Paper route when I was 13. Worked for my neighbor, learning car mechanics at 14 for 1.40 an hour. The first thing he taught me was to rebuild starters, literally under a large shade tree. Fun stuff.
  5. I quit weed long ago. What does 420 mean? I'm out of the loop on there things.
  6. The condition of the piston indicates dirt ingestion. Usually there is cooked oil below the rings from blow -by. Be careful with your air filter.
  7. Take a large garbage bag and cut holes in the bottom for your head and arms and put it on. Wear a sign around your neck that says Just another old bag. Thats all I got. Cheap and easy.
  8. I can relate. If people understood the positive impact they would have on themselves and their workplace, they would do their job well, even if they didn't feel like it. Keep doing your job well. Maybe they'll get a clue.
  9. Got any ideas for a memorable jump. I'm open to anything. I'm easy, and it doesn't have to be special, but if I hear of something, I might have to try it. Thanks
  10. I'm an introvert by nature. I usually don't have too much to say. I do love this sport and am interested in what other folks in it are about. So every morning I get some coffee and see what's up. I think I have less than 5 posts. Maybe this one will coax me out of my hole.
  11. I forgot mine once and jumped from 5000 ft. I thought i would have to open right away, but because I have a full beard, I was surprised to find that there was no wind in my eyes at all, even at terminal. I still where googles though.
  12. Yup, I do. I'll probably see you there. Hope the weather holds up. Later.
  13. The key to walking on water is that you have to get out of boat. Try to get out there and see if you can help someone who is in the same shape that you are in. Be the friend that you need someone to be to you. Hope you have a good walk.
  14. Hey dude, Although 230 bucks sounds like a deal, be sure of what you're getting. If you get everything that your manual recomends for that mileage, it should cost you a lot more than that. You may not be dealing with a dealer though. Make sure the guy knows what he's doing. Check it out. I work in a dealership and have worked on bikes for over 25 years. Even people in a dealership aren't necessarily qualified. Your bike does need some maintenance. Valve adjustments are important, but often neglected. Actually, most of the maintenance is. Let me know if you need some help. Later
