The most cost effective places to jump.

How bout comparing today's dollar against what it cost say 10 or 20 years ago (adjusting for inflation), I'll bet it's about even. I'd also agree with one of the earlier posts - if you're worried that much about it maybe it's time to move on, smile! "just an old jumper" -
I'll ditto that! As a person who earns a living flying airplanes I will NOT jump with an out of date reserve. This past winter I took my rig with me to Perris. When I discovered my reserve was out by just a couple days I put it back in the plane and went "oh, well", I'll have it ready for the next trip out. BG, ATP Falcon 2000, D-11602

The Lear 45 is certified to 51,000 feet, it's what I fly for a living, there's no way I'm taking it there! Just because it's certified doesn't mean it's safe, all the conditions must be right - most of the time in the case of the 45 you'll stall before reaching 51. You must know your aircraft's limitations. It's sad two people lost there lives over this. BG, ATP-Lear 45, Falcon 50/2000

A "Double L" modified 28 foot with A LOT of "rip stop"!

I was just a kid when "Ripcord" was on too. Anyone know if it's available on DVD or tape? I even ordered the skydiver toy from the show, a fold up parachute with a blow tube - that's when I got hooked! A couple other shows from that era were "Sky King" and "Whirlybirds". Sky King started with the Cessna T-50 tail wheel "Bamboo Bomber" and ended I think with a Cessna Skynight or similar model. The "Whirlybirds" show featured two models of the Bell Helicopter during it's run and also stared "Festus". Those shows apparently had some inpact on me as I became a jumper, a helicopter pilot and fly corporate jets for a living.

When I asked HR at my company they said I'd be covered since there was no exclusion for jumping.

Does anyone know where I can purchase skydiving Christmas Cards?
