Sky dive zion is a tandem only operation. Skydive Moab is also mainly tandems but if you call ahead you may be able to get a jump in. If you taper the edges of your pit slowly you will greatly reduce the effect of the gravel spreading out to a thin useless layer, and reduce the chance of ankels getting bit by the edge of the pit.
