  1. I'm placing my freak-n-suit order tomorrow so I'm happy to hear the good news! Flying Hellfish #470
  2. My reserve is due for a repack within the next month. So, I am going to do an intentional cutaway(with a belly reserve just in case) within a couple of weeks. I think it is a good idea to experience a cutaway, although it would be different in an actual emergency. Also, my reserve has never been used, and I would like to see how it flies before I need it in an emergency. Flying Hellfish #470
  3. shhhh.....it was a sunset jump. Flying Hellfish #470
  4. HAHA. I forgot about that. Everybody could hear him from the ground. However, a mal is probably a good reason to scream.....who knows (I've never had one knock on wood). Oh well, you know we like ya Butters, we're just messin wit ya. Oh, and we can't wait till you hit 100 jumps so we can pie you! Flying Hellfish #470
  5. You are very generous, I give only 5 secs no,no..... this cat takes the food if left for about 2 secs! Archie has a nose like no other cat. I have seen him smell food from across the DZ! I have seen him eat and entire 6" sub too. That is why that pic was so believable for everyone who didn't know the real story. Flying Hellfish #470
  6. HAHAHAAA! Nice way to put it Bongo Jr. Too bad someone didn't have a camera on your "normal corn field landing" uh oh, this is gonna turn into one of those things... uh oh.....lets see, can you say bad spot? Flying Hellfish #470
  7. That was an awesome jump! We barely squeezed it in as you can see by the amount of light in the pics. We launched a bobsled exit (182 remember)....all I can say is it worked for about 2 seconds. I loved the safety goggles and hockey helmets, the goggles barely stayed on and definately did not keep the wind out. Oh ya, then theres Fence-Boy. Or even more exactly, Downwind-Into-The-Fence-Boy-Who-Now-Has-Pretty-Good-Wiplash. I'm just playin wit ya Chris.. Ahhh what a day! Flying Hellfish #470
  8. finally got that attachment to work....opinions? Flying Hellfish #470
  9. Ok, Its time I got a freefly suit. I am looking at buying a freak-n-suit and I grabbed this pic off of their website. I coloured (yes the Canadian spelling) it in the way I wanted using paint. Any opinions are welcome...even if you say it looks like crap. Keep in mind that this is a picture of a girl but I am actually a guy if that makes any difference. Flying Hellfish #470
  10. Of my 94 jumps, the first 70 were from a 182. I was at dropzones other than my home DZ for the last 2 weekends. It will be nice to be back in the 182 again this weekend and not have to worry about busy airspace and landing space. Flying Hellfish #470
  11. Grand Bend SPC is about a 1 min drive from GB. I was at Skydive Tecumseh last weekend and it is about 3 mins from the city. Both of these citys/towns are kinda small though and that is probably why the DZ can be so close. Flying Hellfish #470
  12. ah yes, it just did that today. It will be up again soon. Flying Hellfish #470
  13. *bump* This is sad people, I know you have pictures. I had a blast at the Boogie, just look at the Anvils pics! We want to see some of yours
  14. I've packed for myself since jump 10. I trust other people, but I also like to know that if I have a mal, I have nobody to blame but myself. Flying Hellfish #470
  15. Well, there are THESE people, and me too!

    Too Fast ??

Dude. If you don't mind me asking, how much do you weigh and how tall are you?? In other words, whats your BMI? Flying Hellfish #470
  17. Well, I live in London, Ontario and the power went out here at about 4:15pm and was fixed by 9:30 in some parts of the city. If the power hadn't have come back on today, I could have taken the day off work and started the weekend early. oh well. My dad was at Long Point On. when this happened and his power never went out. That is strange since all the major cities surrounding Long Point on every side were without power (Widsor/Detroit, London, Toronto, Cleveland, NY). Flying Hellfish #470
  18. I'm going!! See everybody there! Flying Hellfish #470
  19. Yup, thats the way it is with us. My friends are the same way...they think I have no life (ROFLMAO! they don't know what they are missing)!!! You've- just gotta hang out with the people at your DZ or the people here at DZ.com. They will listen to you. Flying Hellfish #470
  20. I think it is because of the greater profit and ease of instruction when compared to aff. You don't need to know much to do a tandem, so you can get more students through the course in one weekend. You need half the number of certified instructors to take the student up, also allowing more students in a weekend. How much can you really learn from a tandem? The only advantage seems to be canopy control. I did aff (pff here) and the radio for the landings worked fine, I didn't feel the need to be strapped to another person up there. Flying Hellfish #470
  21. 20:19 (just turned 20 4 days ago) Flying Hellfish #470
  22. I have also put one jump on a Sabre 2 150. Needless to say, I packed it the same way I pack my Silhouette and it opened on heading and softer that my Sil opens. My Sil has ~75 jumps on it, the Sabre 2 was brand spanking new. Flying Hellfish #470
  23. Try This Method of packing your pilot-chute. Flying Hellfish #470
  24. Just so you know, the speeds on that speed skydiving website are in Km/h. Flying Hellfish #470
