  1. Naked tracking jump at ground temperature of 25°C (77°F) but -12°C (10°F) at 13k. I think my balls entered my stomach at exit and still wonder how the guy on the video step survived his 20 seconds of glory holding the plane while the rest of us took place at the door.
  2. Thanks for the info. I didn't think about that. I just downsized from my Stiletto 150 to a 135 one and had great openings then a 360° turn after complete deployement (which I didn't have with the 150 in my previous rig). The new rig has a D-bag with almost all sorts of stows on it too. I'll replace them all and try it next weekend. (will have the line trim inspected too)

After trying Sabre1, Sabre2, PD 9-cell I chose to go for the elliptical very lightly loaded and tried a Stiletto 170 and bought my Hurri 170 loaded at 1.2 I had to focus on my opening position on the first jumps and experienced line twists because of my shitty notions of symetry. Now the openings are nice but still, sometimes the canopy makes a 90 turn after full deployement. The openings are really soft (a bit too much if you ask me, I prefer a bit faster openings) Good, the canopy is now opened ! And it flies really great. The front risers are very light compared to a Stiletto. The front riser turns are "divy" but safe and not that aggressive (I assume those are getting radical when loaded properly) The canopy is stable even in turbulences and is fast. The flare was the thing that amazed me the most ! Even for a conservative approach, you will slide a bit on the ground with your feet and I like that feeling so much ! When full pull on toggles, you will even fly a couple feet up from the ground ! My Hurri was as new when I bought it (it had 19 jumps) I bought it on advice from instructors of my DZ and I absolutely don't regret it ! Never heard anybody saying bad things about this canopy.

I got my AFF courses in this DZ and everybody was really kind and gave me advices and answers spontaneously (divers and instructors). The club could be considered like a "great family". the company of the divers out there feels very overwhelming and securing ! They only have a single aircraft (Pilatus PC6) which brings you at 4000m in like 12minutes. The pilots are good and fast so we can have a respectable amount of jumps in the day ! What can I say ? This is an "average DZ" but it's a really nice one ! Come say Hi if you're in the area :)
