    used suits

Hey guys , Just wondering wher to find used classic suits to start birding. I see alot of people talking about getting more advanced suits. What happens to the clasics? I would be intrested in a used suit, even a demo. Im average size about 5'8" 175 lbs.I dont see anybody doing it down here near Miami. Any leads would be great. Also is anyone with a Power Racer birding? Need to know if my rig would be fine for the suit and what mods i would need to do Thanks All! Blue Skies! 8. your right. a 120 is the smallest . i think up to a 325 is max. a 120 saber will go into a 300/300 like mine and is tight. I have a 120 tempo with cypress in the top. I love the setup. I dont mind so much.. but you could call Nancy at Jump Shack and she will know. Blue Skies In the end...the universe has a way of working itself out.... "Harold and Kumar go to White Castle"

  12. would like to know the best mounting setup for a gath helmet. I have a nice small cannon elura40 with a .42 wd lense. Someone said something about a carbon fiber bracket with straps. Want to put it in a neoprean sock. Is right or left side better. Will also be mounting a pro dytter or pro trac. Would like the ability to take of camera bracket off when im not filming. Thanks bros, chris In the end...the universe has a way of working itself out.... "Harold and Kumar go to White Castle"
  13. Thanks , I have a new canon Elura 40mc and putting the camera on the right side of my helmet would be nice. It also seams that mounting it in this way would give you a clearer vision than seeing a lens in that blind spot. This would effect the image as filming head down you would view the image as rightside up. could this be filpped iin adobe premier? Thanks Bros!! 14. I know i saw this before but i will ask. What is the differance to mount the camera inverted with the lense closer to your chin than upright. i saw a guy in team Aria who had this setup. Any advantages?? THANKS BRO'S! In the end...the universe has a way of working itself out.... "Harold and Kumar go to White Castle"
  15. Anyone have any experiance with alpha's. I'm looking at safire 113-119 or crossfire 109 and this 117 alpha. My wing loading will be around 1.6. I will be 190 out the door. Last canopy was saber 97 and i was 210 out the door. I skysurf and freefly. Dont hook and open high IE. "Skysurf". need consistant openings and not line twists at this wing loading. Any past experiance with these canopies. I did'nt like the stilleto at all. I have about 500 jumps and all freefly and skysurf since jump 40. Had a saber 170 right out of aff school. Hope this information helps. Thanks, chris Thanks guys, Chris In the end...the universe has a way of working itself out.... "Harold and Kumar go to White Castle"

  18. Thanks bro, i think the 99 would be a little small for me on a no wind day. i had a saber 97 but it was like no other. i never ran out a landing on a no wind day. Go figure..I weighed 190 then... In the end...the universe has a way of working itself out.... "Harold and Kumar go to White Castle"

  22. Thanks for the reply. My wing loading at 175lb my optimum weight is between 1.4 to 1.65 for a 109crossfire or 119 safire. I was at about 1.9 on my saber 97 at exit and i was very comfortable. i dont hook or swoop so i did'nt experiance the canopy at it's max working speed. 23. Could anybody give me some feedback between these 2 canopies? To keep it short. My last canopy was saber 97, i sky surf, open high, dont hook, but like the flying handeling of small canopiies. Feel lost with 149-169 size canopies hard to judge and allot of braking. Have about 480 jumps all mostly freely and skysurf. I have the opertunity to get either a crossfire 109 or a safire 119. I weigh about 183 but when i had the 97, i weighed 190. i never had to runout a landing. go figure. i ried a stiletto 135 and didnt like it to much. I should be around 175 in a month or so , my in shape jump weight. Someone told me that the crossfire will give me a smoother landing on a no wind day with my wing loading than the safire because it generates more lift. Can anyone give me some advise as i only have flown PD 's. My reserver is a 113 and i have 2 rides on thoes with no problems, actually would make great main. Thanks everyone!
