When you say The PD reserve generally packs bigger, it is the smart reserve that generally packs biger than the PD reserve. The Icarus is not so much a low volume pack, but it does pack smaller than the PD reserve. I 'think' by rule of thumb it packs about the equivalent to 10sq ft smaller than a PD reserve size. Thanks for the reply mate, but at the end of the day this is skydiving and the only law i am interested to se involved in any aspect of skydiving are skydiving coppers. I already have one gear store in the UK who is advertising at a $16 proft upon a $4000 + rig. I am not interested in price wars, as far as I am concerned, I give the customers a good deal and make enough profit to give the next customer a good deal and to make sure that if anything goes wrong with the rig i can afford to give the customer service that is neeed to fix the resolution without going bankrupt. Those whose deals are too good to be true never last, those that are too expensive have a reason to be (overheads, location, service etc), those like me who just want to hang out with skydivers and have places to stay when I travel and pay the bills have the good prices and service. The script on the KKrew website has been the same from day one. We started up to give people who are shit at jumping a group of people to hang out with when touring and get fair priced gear. When I found the house i live in and went shopping for furniture it was important to find a place with a spare room and buy new guest furniture so there is always somewhere to crash for a jumper. Only took four years. Finally have a cashflow an the sale of half the company to keep me going. At the moment we have a dozen or so customers booked up to May! One gear store in Australia said that he will sell at a $1 mark up for 6 months on all products to make sure I dont get a leg to stand on. LOL Not to mention our grand opening during a boogie this weekend and $70,000 in stock and demo rigs and tons of suits, dytters, GoPros etc. Tell you what Bonnie, it is not easy setting a store up, it has been full on for months now. After this weekend we get a rest for xmas and then go through it all again for our UK store. At the end of th day, I am still a skydiver at heart with a passion for jumping so spending $70K on stock was a dream being a skydiver. It was alot of fun buying multipl amounts of every single toy i could think of. I have to say thanks to LandB, Cookie, UPT, Aerodyne, NZA, Wins Deepseed, GoPro and you, Maddy and Mike for making it all possible. Some of them really went out of their way to make sure got to set a proper first class store up. We have thousands of flags and windblades for our freestyle swoop park that KKrew, Just Jump Skydive, NZAerosports and Scott Palmer are building. Doesn't Bonnie own a gear store where you jump? I am certain she will hook you up a great rig. Im not saying dont come to me, but if you have a gear store on your dz, you should see them first. I mean, im certain you would go to them when you need a hook knife or rubberbands right? So if they are there selling you $1 profit items day in and day out, they sure could use your business on the bigger purchases to make sure they are there tomorrow. I am all about selling rigs, but I am also all about jumpers supporting their dz gear stores. (even if you have to get a quote form me first for her to match Aye Bonnie) Bonnie from Gravity Gear, Mike from Chutingstar and Maddy from DZsports have all been there for me when I needed them and to get to the place I am at now. I fail to see how a Cross fire 129 with 150 jumps will fit in it if a mamba 111 is classed as a FULL (Tight) fitting Even though the mamba is measured differently. Surely it would not be safe if you did get it in. V309 (for the bigger reserve) or V308 would be ideal. .Karnage Krew Gear Store .

All my ZPX customers have told me that it is NOT like packing a 500 jump canopy. As others in this website have stated. Doesnt matter what canopy you buy, they will all be dificult to pack brand new. Also, it does not only depend on the canopy. it epends on the size of rig the canopy is going into, hence the D-Bag. The container the OP is getting is a container made for a 190 pilot. So the D-bag is made for a 190 pilot. Seeing the Pilot is a 188 ZPX it will pack easier into the d-bag because the canopy is smaller than the largest canopy it takes. .Karnage Krew Gear Store .

HEres the thing. Did you buy he optima 2 with the port that you have to request? When a dealer buys an optima 2, they get sent an optima 2, but if they want an optima 2 for the LED they must request it. Also it is not waterproof like the standard optima 2. I pay well over $100 to have a rig fully assembled. I believe I pay extra to have the skyhook assembled and I believe riggers should charge extra. I think riggers charges are not high enough. If it was not for riggers being so dedicated and getting that rated half of us would be fucked. Riggers play a very vital role, theyare the mechanics of the skydiving world. My mechanicj charges $100 an hour, my printer charges $99 an hour, my gardener charges $79 an hour etc riggers should also charge by the hour. They deserve it sayin that though, then a reserve pack would only cost $10 by some riggers and $50,000 by others. I think the riggers should get what they deserve. How many of you need this rig packed really quickly so the rigger comes in an hour early to get it done and then he goes and works a full day doing tandems etc. Riggers should charge more. I think you will find there is some awesome customer service in the industry. Ankie set the standards years ago and many of us took notes. Sandy at aerodyne and Tara and Dorothy at Upt have developed it. People like myself and mike at chutingstar just figured out how to pass it on to the customers. I'm sure mike is another that has a serious sleeping problem like myself as he will reply to emails as soon as they come in as well. Then there is likestojump who provides some of the best customer service I have seen an he drakes with customer service. There are many of out there who have made this our lives and the only way to be good at anything is to give it everything. Anyways, I just have always loved working with newbies. Cheers Sparky. Its just jumpers here in Australia pay something like $50 for gear hire. Alot of people spend close to $1500 on gear hire while they are looking for a second hand rig or they are waiting for one to be made. I figured this way, if someone purchases our top pick rig (the same stuff we keep in demos) then the wait is rather well known to be a while on UPT containers, so we thought if we start offering Demo rigs for people while they wait, they could take their instructos advice who say you want to do 50-100 jumps on a 190 and then find your self a new 170 rig. This way they get to buy that 170 and do theior downsizing on a demo rig. If the customer gets their rig and they are not ready to downsize yet then of course we will not just take the rig back. I dont know mate, I heard for years that people wanted to use a rig when they buy one and wait and i finally sold half my company and got the capital to spend it on a fleet of Microns/Mseries containers, Pilot ZPX canopies and Safire 2's so did so. We also open our first dz gear store next week before heading to the UK to open a second one next year. None of this would have been possible without a huge amount of support from many manufacturers. All month long we have had boxes and boxes of promo items turning up, windblades galore for the Freestyle swoop park that we are building on our lake with the help of Plamer, who we have just started sponsoring, along with UPT, Cypres and Cookie Really excited at the moment, just cant wait for the store to open so i can go and hibernate for xmas.
