  1. He she sounds like she would fit in great with my 12 going on 13 year old boy who seems to be about the same.
  2. It was truely a service like no other. After we exited the building and waited on on the ramp for Missy and Rook. I read a post that there wasn't a dry eye in the crowd and I didn't look around to much but I very much doubt there was. It was a very touching moment. Alot of people were there and I wasn't amazed at all by the number, just having ment Roger a few times I knew it would be that large. Roger touched alot of people, those that knew him personaly and those who didn't. That was shown by the people who talked during the service. It great to see 4 canopys open above and one floating with a free bag just below it knowing someone had a malfunction (Rook) and Roger was looking out for him and he had a wonderful reserve ride which he swooped in. Roger is a wonderful person and even though he isn't with his anymore in body he is with us in spirit and will always be in the hearts of many! There is one thing I haven't seen mentioned yet. The eagle that few by during the service. Spread the Love
  3. QW more then likely is one of the Quicken Windows Files. If quicken or quick books is installed that could be it. I had a big issue last week with real player's update program bogging down my windows 2000 system.
  4. Well if you look very closely at the 1st cars video you will notice they do NOT shoot until the suspect turns around with what looks like a gun in his right hand (silver, I know it was a cell phone before I viewed this video) but had I not I would have shot under the same situations. No shots were fired until the suspect turned around with what appeard to be a gun in his hand which would put the officers in danger and that is when they were given reason to fire.
  5. I was just searching the web and found a couple things that I thought people might enjoy. http://www.collegemarketplace.com/INsider/diving.html This one I couldn't access the main server but yahoo has it cached so you can view it here http://66.218.71.225/search/cache?ei=UTF-8&p=%22Roger+Nelson%22+Skydiving&url=TwErvSPnQDoJ:www.skydreams.net/tales.html http://www.makeithappen.com/wis/bios/bartleydd.html http://www.maximroadtrip.com/dayseven.htm

  7. Yeah come on Terry, Give me a break. Drug Problem? Roger went 1,000 a head of any other DZ and required his staff to drug test. Does your DZ do that?

  9. I have only been to SDC like 2 or 3 times but everytime I was there Roger made a point to say hi. He was the most friendly guy I have ever seen and I must say one HELL OF A DZO. The guy had a real passion for life and skydiving, It was clear in not only his personality in person but with his weekly updates though the SDC website. Peace Roger, and Blue Skies, It will be wonderful to have a guy like you up there watching over all of us! My prayers go to his Mom, Father, Missy and Rook.
