Hey all, I'm looking for some advice/experience here. I have found myself in a union at my new job and now one of the other unions is going to be striking and I haven't heard yet if we are going to be asked to do a sympathy strike thing or not yet, but either way... If I cross the picket line and come to work (I will actually be using a different entrance but I guess it's still considered crossing the picket line) what does that mean exactly... Can my union do anything against me? Can my work fire me or write me up for NOT coming in? I'm not looking for opinions on the actually strike issues just anybody who has been thru this and the ways to handle it and the consequences. Thanks all P.S. Okay.. here is the OTHER side of the story The "sell by date" is March 13. We still have half a galllon in the fridge with that date and then we had TWO more gallons. Now by the time we get to drink those, it's going to be more like March 16/17. So I left the half gallon in there and poured out the two gallons. I don't mind being an over cautious mom and having to pay $5 for two gallons so that I don't have to stay home with a bunch of sick people. Life is too short. Don't sweat the small stuff.

Okay, I figured this is the quickest way to ask a bunch of people for a favor. IF the weather is nice on Saturday, Feb 12, 2005 in Byron, please come out. My oldest daughter is turning "18" on Friday and is planning on doing her frist Tandem Skydive w/Connie on Saturday around 2ish. Okay, it's official Lummy and I are not going to be able to make it to Eloy AGAIN this year. Unfortunately, life just gets in the way sometimes. Anyway, I have a room being held in my name at the Super 8 that I have heard is fairly close. It is a room w/2 queen size beds for 71.10 a nite. That's not bad if you can split it between 4 people. Not as cheap as the team rooms, but it has a shower and all. Anyway, I need to cancel it soon so I thought I would see if anyone was in need of a room before I called and let it go. Let me know.
