  1. Here's a MARD save and what looks like the same DZ. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ctim2aDfQJs. Still ended up with a bunch of linetwists but not quite as bad. Personally for me I would want either a MARD or nothing. Since an RSL is the same as pulling your reserve as soon as your risers realease, it will be better in some situations but could be worse if you know your body position will be terrible on release. Since I don't have a MARD, I leave my standard RSL disconnected for wingsuit jumps knowing if I need to I can pull my reserve as soon as I disconnect from my main, but if I have the altitude and I'm in a bad position to deploy immediately, I can take a second to get stable. But that's just my opinion and what suits me. Everyone should educate themselves and make their own choices with what they feel comfortable with. Whats the point of living if you aren't doing what you love?
  2. Yeah I was there today and asked about it too. Are you planning on just doing a tandem, or AFF too? If you're going next weekend I'll see you out there! Whats the point of living if you aren't doing what you love?
  3. Huh, maybe they changed it. I have recently seen some very young tandem students there and have been jumping their almost every week and I'm still 17. I'd give them a call. Whats the point of living if you aren't doing what you love?
  4. Parachute Center Lodi. I did my first tandem at 16, AFF at 17. They aren't USPA which it why they let 16-17 year olds jump with parents consent. With the new USPA rules you can't get your license until you're 18, but that doesn't really matter since until I turn 18, even with my license and 80 jumps, I can't jump at other dropzones because of how they set up their waivers. Whats the point of living if you aren't doing what you love?
  5. That makes sense. I did my tandem on a Saturday and they gave me information to read and a few vids to watch, and then I came back on Monday, class stated at 9, I was the only student in the class, and I was on the plane for my first jump at 11. I think I finished just before 3. Last time I was at Lodi that were calling load 23 and it was just after two. They turn loads fast there! Whats the point of living if you aren't doing what you love?
  6. Hey guys, Just saw this thread, and was wondering how common are gaps like this in AFF? When I did my AFF 8 months ago, I did it at Lodi and finished ground school and all 7 jumps in a day. And the other dropzones near by said 2-3 day course. Do other dropzones spread AFF out longer? Whats the point of living if you aren't doing what you love?
