  1. Scott, Your unwavering smile and constant good attitude never escapes my memory. You were impressive in your role at the DZ and you will never be forgotten. My new girl really liked you too and was deeply saddened having just met you 3 days earlier.God Bless You. Oz Motion = Emotion
  2. Here is one of the sickest videos of kids flying you will ever see. http://team-future.net/videos/team_future_promo.html http://team-future.net (home page) It is of Justin (age 8) and Kayla (age 11) doing some killer freeflying. I am excited in that I get to fly head down with Kayla on Friday!!!!!!! Adult seeking kids approval!!!!!!! Motion = Emotion

  6. So true for me as well. When I sleep, it feels like someone is trying to pull my arm out of its socket. My head down progression is much easier on the arms and sleep is getting better again. Motion = Emotion
  7. I am totally down for that. Will be back in TEXAS for 6 weeks in Oct/Nov. Oz Motion = Emotion
  8. I buy 15 min coached blocks. The total bock you buy is the "slot" but the tunnel staff puts other flyers in with me (either tunnel rats or others like myself) and we rotate with a few minutes of break in between for rest, reflection, etc. So my 15 minutes may take 30-45 minutes to burn using 2 1/2 minute increments as is typical for me. During these mini breaks my coach tells me how I did and what I need to do going forward in the same session. All of this is caught on video and I take the video home with me and review. Where I live (high altitude) my freefly skydiving time is about 45 seconds plus/minus. That means the tunnel session is like 20 skydives (the freefly portion of the dive) here or even less if you discount getting stable, waving off, etc. How much time would/does it take you to do 20 skydives and how much would it cost you to do it fully coached and shot on video (coaches fee 20 to 40 bux, slot 20 to 23, packing 5-6, plus your own fees)? I pay under 200 bux for this but it would cost me WELL over 1000 to equal it in the sky and I use the term "equal" loosely due to fatigue and muscle memory issues involved in the time involved to get it done in the sky. That said, I skydive every weekend and that is the reason I do the tunnel and not vice versa. They go together perfectly but the real concentrated learning happens in the tunnel and for much less money. Just my 2 cents but it makes sense for me. Motion = Emotion
  9. I just ordered mine, thanks for the input. I did not know this book existed previously. Motion = Emotion
  10. Can someone PM me the contact info for Erez (one of the guys on the jump). I lost the info and I was supposed to get ahold of him to get dome video of a malfunction I had a few weeks ago that he caught on video. He organizes at Perris at times. Thanks in advance. O Motion = Emotion
  11. I just bought ONE HOUR for the promo price. I will be leaving Denver for 8 weeks soon and be in Houston so I will visit it during that time or during the murkier parts of winter. Oz Motion = Emotion
  12. Whoops! mY Bad... I am sure it was the last 60 that made him a star!!!!!! Plus that last one counts as at least 1000. Motion = Emotion
  13. Not sure if that was a typo but actually Denver is closer to 5000 ft above sea level and not 500 ft. What this means is that the correlation to actual skydiving is closer since we all skydive from much higher than sea level and in much thinner air. So a tunnel session in 150 mph winds in Denver is a little more like a skydive from 14k above sea level than a 150 mph session at sea level where equal lift could be achieved a little less actual wind speed but with less correlation to actual jumping out of a plane. I find that wind speed is not really a topic around here because SVC has the ability to provide winds to somewhere around 190 mph. Since my goal is to simulate skydiving and become a better skydiver, that is way more than I need or even want. But other people have goals that are entirely different and may actually like to fly those speeds. I do think the excess capacity is good for the longevity and operability of the tunnel and prevents downtime which can be a real bummer for flyers that come in from out of town since the motors are only operating at around 75-85% capacity (depending on the discipline you are trying to mimic). 14. Here is an interesting link that talks about all of the SV tunnels individually. The one in Spain soinds like a HURRICANE. http://www.skyventure.com/tunnellocations/default.aspx?ID=299d98a1-4657-4646-a469-1acbf33798e3 Motion = Emotion
  15. Push your hips forward and mentally think about puckering your ass like you are trying to hold in a fart or turd. Hips forward allow you to "stay on top" of your legs and push off of the air rather than get pushed around by the air as is the case with a weak sitting profile. Go to a tunnel if you can. The value gained is tremendous. One of the guys in the world record head down formation set in Chicago last Friday (I am just returning) only had 300 skydives but is a tunnel rat. Motion = Emotion
