  1. Try Parachute Labs aka Jump Shack.
  2. I remember a cutaway system that had wooden, almost bead-line, handles. You're not imagining it!
  3. Can anyone provide me with customer feedback dealing with the Parachute Shop in Ma?
  4. I wouldn't waste time/money on obtaining a National Judges rating though. Speaking from experience the Chief Judge for an event will send out e-mails to all qualified judges then pick the same ones they've been using forever! Eventually those same judges will have gone by the wayside with no replacements. I've asked that my name be removed from the judges for this very reason.
  5. Congratulations to Major Jeffery Mullins Blue Angel #3!!! Alot of us have jumped with you when you were just plain Jeff Mullins. If you fly half as good as you jump the "Blues" are going to have a great season!!
  6. Really, you couldn't figure out why she had a horseshoe? Pulling the pud on a pull-out opens the container exposing the bag to the airstream, eventually it'll work its way out. Key, dont hold on to the pud!!
  7. And you were so fucking sure hillary was going to win. What wine did you have with your crow?!!
  8. I beg to differ FAAH 7110.65 Clearly define "right of way" as it pertains to Aeronautical navigation. To claim otherwise that it is not related to aviation is incorrect!
  9. Send the canopy back to PD! I had a PUSE 190 that slammed me everytime it opened. I tried everything to slow it down, nothing worked. PD replaced it after sending it to them. Thanks again PD, great customer service!!!
  10. I made my first jump on my 16th birthday Aug 76, and have been jumping ever since.
  11. Kick off the solo jumper and give him/her a free jump!
  12. Anyone can re-line a main canopy...non-tso'd. Many years ago a company made a do-it-yourself canopy you could make at home.
  13. I own 2 Pulses and several others from different manufactures. I've been jumping since 1976 so I have a little more experience and yes, older! I love the Pulse, it's a great all around canopy. Handling is great and landings are pretty much a no-brainer. Disclaimer: I've never jumped a Shiloutte (sp) so I can't compare the two. Whichever you decide buy new if you can afford it. BTW there's a reason why you don't see Used Pulse canopies or sale, they get snapped up!
  14. Sure have! Ground winds came up, gusting pretty good. Rode the Otter down. Much better to go for a plane ride than an ambulance ride! Remember, it's YOUR life you'll have to live with your decision no one else!
  15. Weren't you the one who predicted killary would win?! Obummercare is imploding on itself as more insurance companies withdraw from the exchanges. It's just a matter of time before the sucking sound you hear is obummercare flushing down the toilet.
  16. Due to canopy trim the Pulse has the shorter recovery arc. Forget a bottom color, it has to do with the fabric that's used, same as in the Optimum reserve.
  17. Did anyone one with Space Ninja on cutaway/reserve pillow Vector rig and a Squirell suit have their gear stolen? This is posted on ebay as for sale by a wuffo!
  18. It was my friend who died at SkyDive Dallas on hie 99th jump. His Spectre opened so hard it tore this aorta and he bled out. BTW he was from Oklahoma. RIP Rich!
  19. Burn it before you kill a student on it!
  20. Don't know where you're getting your facts from. Pullouts are easier to pack, Don't have to worry about the pilotchute getting stuck in the pouch, and no pilotchute in tows!
