  1. mega serious advice, I have 8 jumps and 8 DAYS at the DZ when wind would not cooperate. I know patience is built in with us Soldiers...chow line much, but there are full days when the wind will not get below 14 mph, and you see the tandems and licensed guys go up and you can't. When you're in the situation, talk to people, pick their brains, learn. I assure you, it will not be a day wasted. SCR 15113 USPA Coach-C Hellfish 1004
  2. 13 years army, 2 months AFF. Gotta say, welcome to the sport. It's awesome. I plan on finishing AFF this month. I know my initial estimate on finishing it was way off...stupid wind. It's a blast bro. SCR 15113 USPA Coach-C Hellfish 1004
  3. All of the above, but all on different landings! SCR 15113 USPA Coach-C Hellfish 1004
  4. 210 lbs and an excellent arch, I gained 6 seconds by switching to the super mega fat guy jump suit SCR 15113 USPA Coach-C Hellfish 1004
  5. good to know, all the other affs at my DZ seem to stand up 2 or 3 out of 7. My last landing was weird because of thermals. I entered downwind at 800, Base at 500, Final at 200 and landed 600 feet past the target, at one point i was at 230 on final. My exits are still a bit lame. It's always perfect posture for the 1st second, then I look down for half a second, then I look up at the plane until i'm off the hill. I fall really fast too. 6. Hate that door monster. I'm early in AFF myself and that weather hold can be a relief, but then I get annoyed on the drive home. If you have a DZ with a mock-up, practice the exit while you wait. Practice the exit a lot from the very back of the mock-up. It makes the exit way less scary. SCR 15113 USPA Coach-C Hellfish 1004
  7. Just did AFF 5 and loving it. Haven't been able to land on my feet yet, but working on it. SCR 15113 USPA Coach-C Hellfish 1004
