  2. As a local jumper I know quite well the DZs you have listed below. Lillo: it has changed a lot in the last 2 years. Pros:New facilities, nice grass landing area (which is not very common in DZs in the center of Spain) really good vibe Cons: one plane (pilatus Porter), activitiy is not guaranteed during weekdays, no activities around apart from skydiving Skydive Spain (Seville) Pros: activity almost guaranteed any day of the week, 15000 feet jumps, quick planes (2 Dornier G-92), good vibe, lot of funjumpers from northern Europe, cheap ticket jumps Cons: really need a car to get to the DZ, old facilities Skytime Castellon: Pros: really close to the beach, very good vibe, lot of funjumpers, amazing views in every jump, could almost arrive walking or by bus to the DZ, a lot to do apart from skydiving (sightseeing, chilling on the beach, watersports) Cons: does not operate during most week days, one plane (pilatus Porter)
  3. You are just about to make it! Keep going until you get your AFF and your A license. That´s where the real fun begins. And do not forget to have fun in your way. Blue skies
  4. Skydive Madrid (where Freefall university is located) is my current DZ and I would like to tell it has a really good vibe, very qualified instructors, nice chill out zone and plenty of space in hangar for packing. In the last two years I do not have heard almost any complain about it neither from AFF students nor from tandems passengers
  5. Is it a spin off encouraging people to upload photos of their own vintage jumpsuits? I would like to watch some
  6. Are you looking for brand new rig or second hand? If it´s your first rig, you may want to save some money buying used gear (that is exactly what I did) but a new AAD which you may exchange from one rig to the next if you downsize

    WindGames 2016

I agree, but I do prefer Leo´s "superheore" routine Astonishing how he creates "walking effect" either headup or headdown This video is mute, but still amazing http://www.windoor-realfly.com/img/windgames/2016/videos/205_2.mp4

    WindGames 2016

The Windgames 2016 are taking place right now at Empuriabrava (Spain) from 22 till 23 January You can watch the show live: http://www.windoor-realfly.com/es/windgames/2016 Disciplines include: FS4 Open FS Female Open VFS 2WD Freestyle
  9. We are happy to confirm that at last we are having a new wind tunnel in Madrid. It is a completely circular 15 feet diameter and 56 ft height tunnel built by Spanish technology. Large facilities with several proflyers rooms as well as first timers briefing rooms. Check all the info at https://es.madridfly.com/tunel Hope this will bring Spanish freeflyers the push we needed
  10. You had a problem. You fought it. You solve it Well done P.D.- Do not forget to pay the beers
  11. I was at Skydive Spain´s boogie last year. A lot of people from around Europe. Very talented coaches. A lot of loads a day due to the 2 Dornier planes. Edited video play at the end of the day. Cheap tickets (at least for European standars) for jumps at 15000 feet Also there will be a boogie taking place at Castellon (from 19th December till 2 January). Dz located at less than 50 meters to the sea shore. The best views for skydiving in Spain. Very good vibe. Beach landing on the sunset load feels awesome! 2 planes (Dornier and Caravan) Not so many organised loads
  12. Looking for mild weather and fast planes? Skydive Spain (Seville) has both to offer plus a jumping altitude of 15.000 ft BTW: I am not currently working there neither have any bonus
  13. Kind of... "Let the hunger games begin" http://i3.cpcache.com/product/625851829/let_the_hunger_games_begin_grunge_wall_art.jpg?height=400&width=400&qv=90&AttributeValue=Poster&Size=24x24
  14. I can't believe nobody has put the link to this important event It's taking place right now. You can join the streaming live at http://www.wisc2015.com/ Who is your favourite for the 4DW? I think Windoor Warriors and Mad Ravens could be in the fight for the 1st place Anybody knows why is there no USA team taking part in the 4 way dynamic? (I can only see Antigravity XP in the 2WD contest)
  15. mandatory everywhere in spain, or just empuriabrava? and is it mandatory for crw jumps, etc? As far as I know AADs are mandatory at every DZ in Spain no matter which type of jump are you doing. I have been in Skydivespain (Seville), Skydive Madrid (Ocaña), Skydive Lillo (Lillo), Skytime (Castellon) and before you are allowed to jump your gear is checked (including AAD ) Also have friends jumping in Skydivebcn (Barcelona) and AADs are also mandatory for every skydiver despite the type of jump
  16. I don´t know whether you want to stay in Europe or cross the pond In Spain we have a nice facility running in Seville. In fact it is Skydive Hibaldstow´s (which you may know) sister dropzone. Has mild weather during winter, two planes and good vibe with pretty good level at freeflying and wingsuiting
  17. I may have taken a different way. I agree with Joellercoaster about getting some jumps on your belly to begin feeling really comfortable in the air and learn how to do leg turns, side slides, fall rate changes, etc but I don´t think you should buy a FS for that. You can use a cheap all-around purpose suit for things like that Once you´ve learned the basic skills on your belly you can progress with back and sitflying. That would be the moment to start looking for your freefly suit Just my 2 cents
  18. Must share his opinion on this matter

    FlyStation

It is a very modern tunnel with a smooth air flow. It has 2 team rooms where you can debrief your flight afterwards from 3 different angle cameras. The bar downstairs is peaceful and quite so you can relax and take a coffe break or a light meal Coaches are helpful and kind although not everyone speaks English
  21. I really appreciate this complete feed back Transmitter. We will be soon flying in there and hope to get as good results as you did
  22. With Sonyvegas I had some issues but I found what to do to get rid of them (thnks youtube tutorial)
