A selection of European skydivers, concentrated this week at Skydive Empuriabrava, with the organization and expertise of the members of the Fly Warriors team, has established a new European Head Up Record. After 16 attempts, a formation of 43 jumpers has been built successfully.
Congrats to everybody

timrf79Anyone here knows good place to jump near Sofia (Bulgaria) and Valencia (Spain).
have a trip to Europe coming up later in the year and thinking about taking my rig (or not)
Skytime.info is one of the best DZs in Spain. Located in Castellón. Close to large and non crowded beaches, cheap accommodation around, many places to taste nice Spanish dishes.
Very good vibe, many funjumpers and not so many tandems. They run a Pilatus Porter but manage to make a lot of loads a day -
I did and I will in the near future.
I got injured and need to build my foundation again on the canopy hook turns -
finkHere's a quick compilation of some of my rookie katana swoops, all right hand.

That´s Skydive Spain (Aerodromo la Juliana in Seville) if I am not mistaken
At what height did you do your set-ups? What exit weight or WL had you got? -
I broke my ACL (left knee) while snowboarding. I have been involved in many outdoor sports like windsufing, kiteboarding, sailing, trekking, climbing, running...
After recovering from the injury I decided to try a sport that didn´t put too much stress on my knee. I saw that landings can be as easy as walking down a stair so I decided to spend the money saved throughout my vacation time. I did my AFF course and life changed from that moment on -
Beautiful pic by the way -
Skydive Madrid, Skydive Lillo or Skytime Castellon usually allow people to jump with tandems (the Tandem Master has to give his/her approval) -
There are two little but nice dropzones in France near the border with Spain.
One of them is near the vilage of Mimizan. It is a very touristic place during the summer due to the long yellow sand beaches ideal both for surfing or sunbathing. A lot of beautiful places to visit, tasty local recipes and much more.
Its owner Olivier is very friendly and really helpful with anything you may need around ojbpara.com. Every jump you will enjoy a beatiful view of the ocean and lineshore
The other is near the village of Pau (close to the Pyrenees). Cheap accommodation in the DZ. Nice vibe around with a lot of French and Spanish people. Well connected with the highway and a lot of different activities around: horseriding, sightseeing, wine tasting, etc www.pau-skydive.fr -
In Spain you can start working as a camera in most dropzones with 300 jumps and a coach license under your belt -
Just mere curiosity, are you intructor there?
Otherwise, if you fly there every day I want to have your income -
You are welcome.
BTW I was able to jump with the "Douchebags team" at Castellon.
Awesome flyers, but also awesome people -

As a local jumper I know quite well the DZs you have listed below.
Lillo: it has changed a lot in the last 2 years.
Pros:New facilities, nice grass landing area (which is not very common in DZs in the center of Spain) really good vibe
Cons: one plane (pilatus Porter), activitiy is not guaranteed during weekdays, no activities around apart from skydiving
Skydive Spain (Seville)
Pros: activity almost guaranteed any day of the week, 15000 feet jumps, quick planes (2 Dornier G-92), good vibe, lot of funjumpers from northern Europe, cheap ticket jumps
Cons: really need a car to get to the DZ, old facilities
Skytime Castellon:
Pros: really close to the beach, very good vibe, lot of funjumpers, amazing views in every jump, could almost arrive walking or by bus to the DZ, a lot to do apart from skydiving (sightseeing, chilling on the beach, watersports)
Cons: does not operate during most week days, one plane (pilatus Porter) -
You are just about to make it! Keep going until you get your AFF and your A license.
That´s where the real fun begins.
And do not forget to have fun in your way.
Blue skies -
Skydive Madrid (where Freefall university is located) is my current DZ and I would like to tell it has a really good vibe, very qualified instructors, nice chill out zone and plenty of space in hangar for packing. In the last two years I do not have heard almost any complain about it neither from AFF students nor from tandems passengers -
Is it a spin off encouraging people to upload photos of their own vintage jumpsuits?
I would like to watch some -
Are you looking for brand new rig or second hand?
If it´s your first rig, you may want to save some money buying used gear (that is exactly what I did) but a new AAD which you may exchange from one rig to the next if you downsize -
I agree, but I do prefer Leo´s "superheore" routine
Astonishing how he creates "walking effect" either headup or headdown
This video is mute, but still amazing

We are happy to confirm that at last we are having a new wind tunnel in Madrid.
It is a completely circular 15 feet diameter and 56 ft height tunnel built by Spanish technology.
Large facilities with several proflyers rooms as well as first timers briefing rooms.
Check all the info at https://es.madridfly.com/tunel
Hope this will bring Spanish freeflyers the push we needed -
You had a problem. You fought it. You solve it
Well done
P.D.- Do not forget to pay the beers -
I was at Skydive Spain´s boogie last year.
A lot of people from around Europe.
Very talented coaches.
A lot of loads a day due to the 2 Dornier planes.
Edited video play at the end of the day.
Cheap tickets (at least for European standars) for jumps at 15000 feet
Also there will be a boogie taking place at Castellon (from 19th December till 2 January).
Dz located at less than 50 meters to the sea shore. The best views for skydiving in Spain.
Very good vibe.
Beach landing on the sunset load feels awesome!
2 planes (Dornier and Caravan)
Not so many organised loads -
Looking for mild weather and fast planes?
Skydive Spain (Seville) has both to offer plus a jumping altitude of 15.000 ft
BTW: I am not currently working there neither have any bonus -
riggerrob
Yes,
I was rambling, but my point is "no blood, no sport."
If spectators were at risk of being struck by random tunnel rats falling out of the tunnel, it would make tunnel flying more interesting.
..... sort of like being splashed by the trained mammals at the aquarium.
That's it!
We allow spectators to sit along the edge of the swoop pond at the next Canopy Piloting Competition. Minor fails would see spectators splashed, while major fails would see spectators suffer the same concussions, cracked femurs and drowning a as competitors!
Yeah!
Any less blood would be as exciting as watching paint dry!
Kind of... "Let the hunger games begin"

Winx canopy volume
in Gear and Rigging
Posted
Hello, I currently have a Mirage G4 M0 size holding a KA-120 that fits a little loose.
I´ve checked the Mirage sizing chart but I can not really figure out if a Winx canopy would fit in it?
I´ve asked Atair and they told me that a Hybrid version of the canopy would definitely made it, but I have been offered a fully ZP one, not a Hybrid. Anyone has owned a fully ZP Winx canopy? How much volumen does it have compared to a Storm for example?
Anyone can give me some advice
