Skydive Chelan opened in May and in the few short months they have been open they have come a long way. Their aircraft is meticulous, the owners, coaches, packers and pilots are all awesome, and the drop zone has an awesome view. They still have some kinks to work out, mainly getting their student program up and running since the Chelan jump scene still isn't very big. That being said, if you let them know that you and your friends are headed their way ahead of time, they will do everything they can to make sure that they are ready to provide you guys with an awesome time. The hangar is nice, the landing zone is coming along (green grass coming in!) and the vibe is super chill. You can learn how to speedfly with Todd and Sonya, as well as jump helis and even play in the lake. They also have contact information for a bunk house set up just up the road if you need lodging. This drop zone is awesome and I will definitely be back. I am very excited to see where things go for them in the next 2-3 years! Cheers to Todd and Sonya for living the dream!
