if it's all you can take, why all the extra effort to keep creating new accounts and coming back?
    it's just silly.

Nonsense...just nice to pop in once in a while without being a post whore...besides, who are you to talk? You were the one whining in bonfire about deleting your account, until Billvon came in and called you out like a bitch....and you still had the balls to come back and post, and then come to me with your hypocritical bullshit talking about "it's just silly?"

    You're projecting....

In today's crazy legal environment, I would NOT want to be the one misbehaving like this on the interwebs.

    lol...hah.

You've got to be kiddin' me, eh?

    glad i'm not you....

I like this one because it allows you to scroll around it.

Now that's some wick sicked shit bro....

It's fun to scroll through at the beat of the song while trying to grasp everything the visual is communicating...

It be cool if we could smoothly zoom out and make the shit look more realistic.

    Do you own a gun?

Tsk tsk. A thinly veiled death threat on Ishtar. Helluva world.

You discerned a death threat from that? :S Hmmmm. [:/]

Well, that's the beauty of it: utter plausible dependability.

    But, Yes.

In that case, it's a sad, sad, world. :(

What do you expect...he's a lawyer. In this country it's apparently considered justice to have anything you say twisted and used against you.

...just like in the other thread where homosexual advocates where demonizing a dumb ass conservative for supporting gay rights...lol.

Here is a fascinating take on the subject by a Jewish rabbi.

    Quote

If Jesus returns as the Messiah he will be circumcised in the flesh, will require kosher food to eat and insist on a Synagogue to pray on Saturday, the Jewish Sabbath, not a Church with crosses representing his crucifixion on a Sunday.

Now that's just complete and utter nonsense....I'm still laughing at the idea of God being preoccupied with mutilating his own penis before exacting his vengeance.

Jesus was not a Christian; he was a Jew. He lived his entire life as a Jew and died as a Jew. On what Christians today celebrate as Easter Jesus came to Roman occupied Jerusalem to celebrate the Festival of Pesach – Passover. He had a traditional Passover ceremony and meal called a ‘seder’ which after his death Christians called his ‘Last Supper’. To most Jews of Jesus’ age (although not necessarily to Jesus himself) ‘salvation’ meant ‘regime change’.

True...they just ignore all the other not-so-glorious text. For example...many Jews have admitted that Isaiah was a nut and reject his prophecy.

This same sentiment was shared with Peter. Christ just told the apostles about all the glory of the messiah that will come and how they will be given the keys of heaven...then Christ said, but first he "must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life."

"Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him. “Never, Lord!” he said. “This shall never happen to you!”

Jesus turned and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns.”

See...peter, like most Jews was preoccupied with the "human concerns" - glory, power etc, while ignoring the pain and humiliation that would get them there.

"We all want to go to heaven, but nobody wants to die"

    etc...

Since no one has actually said it, yet, Happy Easter!

Happy Easter or whatever you wanna call it, Lisa... :-*

The good thing about all this is that whether the contention against religion comes from an atheist or a christian, it forces those who are serious about their faith to reexamine it and all the nonsense we've be raised to believe. ie, christmas trees, easter eggs, bunny rabbits, roman pagan goddess worship of Mary and transubstantiation....etc. None of which are sanctioned from scripture.

Kaufman County District Attorney Mike McLelland took no chances after one of his assistant prosecutors was assassinated two months ago. McLelland said he carried a gun everywhere he went and took extra care when answering the door at his home.

"I'm ahead of everybody else because, basically, I'm a soldier," the 23-year Army veteran boasted in an interview less than two weeks ago.

On Saturday, he and his wife were found dead in their home just outside the town of Forney, about 20 miles from Dallas, killed in an attack for which authorities have given no motive.

Yep, carrying really worked for him and his wife.

Though I'm not a big fan of chicken counting arrogance, I still find your comments tasteless....

Just got back from a trip to Chicago...for a city with some of the strictest gun laws in the country, I can't say I was surprised to see all the gun violence continuing to plague the city. Then they blame it on the other states for smuggling the guns in? Well, of course...there's a premium demand for guns in Chicago.

It amazes me how liberals will argue against prohibition for their drugs, but when it comes to guns they seem to have a case of amnesia toward their own logic....:S

It was quite refreshing to see however that your state laws against concealed carry were deemed unconstitutional...there is hope after all.

We won that battle, now all we have to do is support the NRA in their fight against all the stupid restrictions, llike "no concealed carry on public transportation," lol...gimme a break!

Cousin Jesus was not a Christian; he was an observant Jew, as were those who followed him before he was executed by Pagan Europeans.

Seems as though you can pick and choose with the best of them...

I am not impressed by people who claim to adore the one individual, and yet seek to persecute the rest of his family.

Is that an appeal to Godwin?

As I recall, most people didn't seem impressed by Hitler.

    Quote

What we know as Christianity today is based on heavily redacted accounts, edited to appeal to the selfsame Pagan Europeans who killed him.

That doesn't make much sense...at all.

Why edit the accounts to appeal to pagans who murdered Him hundreds of years earlier?

It seems to me that the pagan aspects of the catholic church have derived from various Roman pagan traditions and other sources outside of canonized scripture.

It's interesting that much of the Roman church's doctrine is antithetical to what they determined to be canon...I suppose scripture just becomes a liability when one's agenda is to seek global power and wealth rather than God. I suspect one of the best way to limit this liability would be to speak Latin and claim that only the priests have the ability to accurately interpret scripture. They're really no different then the Jewish religious leaders that Jesus condemned.

    Quote

Having people wandering around with little execution devices whereby Europeans killed quite a few Jews is about as charming as was the practice of wearing little jewelry Guillotines during the French Revolution.

    Good point...

I think you can blame Constantine for that one.

I forget what your OP was about.

liberal homosexual reprobates complaining about dumb ass social conservatives who accept gays...

    Kinda like:
"Oh, you hate gays? What a loving christian!"
"Oh, a christian who condones homosexuality? What a hypocrite!"

    It's protocol....
