I golf. Used to be pretty good too. I bowl. I'm still damn good. I hunt, I fish. Billards and darts on occasion. Used to shoot leagues for both. Used to play lots of paintball with a semi-pro team up here, but that got too expensive, even compared to jumping. And every once in a while I break out the Lawn Jarts.

God, I wish. Most tires places around here require proof of alignments to validate a tire wear warranty, but either don't offer them, or charge a premium for them. Our Montana had a great alignment. Then a spider scared my wife, during which time she didn't pay attention, swerved to the right, and hit the curb hard enough to blow both passenger side tires. Needless to say, it needs an alignment now, but it's worthless for me to have it done until it warms up and I can fix the other damage that freakin spider caused. Namely, a wheel bearing and both inner and outer tie rod ends on the passenger front wheel. Women and spiders. geez. It's your life, live it! I was told this just now from those inside too, but that's a bit more information than needs to be known right now, tall slut! I did just hear that WFFC '09 is a go BUT..... DO NOT take my word for it. Wait for an official announcement, please. I told those inside that if there really is to be an '09, they need to announce it really soon, preferably before THIS boogie season kicks off. Anyway, I'll still wear my rig with pride. Be it up here, at the WFFC, Summerfest, or any other DZ or boogie I may wander in to at any time.

Actually, no. The point of this thread is safety, period, as was pointed out to me in a pm. Anyone can screw up, at any time, no matter the experience. I was at Dublin last year and witnessed Danny's and Bob's "incident" 1st hand. This was a highly experienced jumper screwing up. Take that kind of responsibility and pass it down to a low timer, in canopy traffic, and the results can quickly become catastrophic. A person that is not safe for themselves is not safe for those in the air around them either. As this very knowledgable person said to me in that pm, and I agree, if we can't stop them, keep them away from me. I'll easily back out of the load also. Edited to add: How many DZO's would continue to allow this if all the other jumpers refused to get on a load with the jumper that was, obvious to everyone but he/she, in over their head?
