It's not easy!! I moved as far away as is possible last month, and it was not easy! From one coast to another, I left my condo, my job, sold my car, my furniture..left all of my friends, my family, a kick ass DZ (that I miss terribly) But I knew that the change was right for me and that is what made it easier. One I got on the plane I was so relieved. There is a lot of hard work to do until you move, but the relief is worth it! (Of course, I was getting married at the time too, and while the thought of being with the man I love made it better, I was also leaving 'single independent girl' behind too.) Take a deep breath, make lots of lists, and take time for yourself in the process. I thought it be a lot harder to leave everyone behind, and while it is hard, there are so many ways to keep in touch. You will see everyone again, and think of the adventure you are about to begin, and everything that you will have to share with them! I love exploring new places. You have a great personality--don't even worry about meeting new people! All will be well. Keep a journal so that you never lose these feelings. You will enjoy looking back on this adventure! Good luck!

That is a horrid website! Second only to ogrish.com. edited to add: the only reason why I know about those sites is because I worked with a guy who worked with the DC fire dept. for 10 years ... he wanted to show me what his work was like for a while.

I would tend to believe that the wagon is not a very friendly place to be. I imagine there are many smelly people on it. I do not think the wagon would have music either. If it happened to be a fun place, I would think that everyone would be a lot more able to hang on. Also, if other people on the wagon happen to be friendly, they certainly would give you a leg or an arm to hold on to, so that you would not fall off so easily. Just my .02
