Skydive Santa Barbara: 18k jumps for $37 with an ocean view.

So I just started a new job and I don't get benefits for the first 90 days. What's a good short term insurance that could cover any potential skydiving injuries in the meantime?

I haven't flown a P3, but I own a Swift and have flown it next to P3's and I find that I can easily overpower P3's. In flocks, I notice that I have to to open up the zippers and depressurize the suit to make it easier to fly in a group. The Swift is very fast and generates a lot of lift for its size.

I'm heavily considering the Funk. I was planning on getting the Havok Carve but with the 10 week lead time, I am kind of hesitant. The Funk just came at the perfect time. Still waiting on word of the the new Tonysuit backfly suit.

I fit sunglasses undearneath mine no problem. There's plenty of room.

I am visiting Lisbon as well as Madeira off the coast of Portugal for the holidays. I plan on visiting Skydive Europe, but is there a dropzone on the island as well?

I am a very new wingsuiter. Just started last weekend and got to fly my Swift today on my 10th WS jump. Did my FFC and next several jumps on a Tonysuit I-Bird. Had some stability problems at first but got it sorted out. Tried out a Birdman GTI as well which was lame. Flying the Swift was unreal though. Tons of forward speed, and felt more stable and easier to fly than the I-bird. Forward speed and "floatiness" was incredible. I jumped with a guy flying a X-Bird and he said he had no problems following me and he was impressed by it too. It does seem like an intense suit if it was used for a FFC though.

Woo so I got it to work! I made a baking soda paste of 3 parts baking soda and 1 part water. I rubbed the paste into the "problem" areas and let it sit for an hour. The suit was then thrown into the wash with Woolite and I let it soak for 15 minutes. I finished it off with a delicate wash cycle and hung it up to dry.

I'm looking to purchase my first wingsuit, and I'm wondering about the Intrudair suits, particularly the Piranha2, since it has a similar planform to the Phantoms. The 5-6 week lead time is very appealing versus the PF/Tony 15-16 weeks, as well as the cheaper price. However I cannot find too much about flight characteristics/build quality. Has anybody here gotten to fly them, and what do you think?

I am using a top load machine on a delicate cycle.

I bought a used wingsuit and I've given it two washes, but I still cannot completely get the smell of body odor out from the previous owner. Especially in the armpit area wooo. Any advice on how to get the stench out? I'm using Woolite delicates.

So I just started jumping with a Phoenix Fly track suit, and I have been just doing standard box man exits into the relative wind. Are there any exits I should stay away from due to the rapid pressurization of the suit? I know it's not as dramatic as a wingsuit. Just wondering because of on my last jump of the day, I hit my ankle on the airplane as I was exiting because of the massive drag in the pants as I exited.

I'm brand new to the sport, just finished AFF. I'm looking for a first helmet. I've been eyeing the RAWA RW full face. What do you guys think of this as a first helmet?
