    Just out of curiosity, why the hate on Dubai? I mean, there's a bunch of youtube vids out there of happy skydivers going to Dubai to jump out of buildings, planes, etc. Dubai seems like the mecha of skydiving, base jumping, and debauchery, no?

    Hell no. My job (i cannot say where i work or what i do because of a Nondisclosure agreement i have in the entertainment business) means i'm up and about morning, day, and night.

    Let's just say i'm involved in the latest and future projects with WB DC Universe.

    What's been going on everyone?!!! I do miss everyone on here!
    So just an update, as you all remember, i work in the entertainment industry...but because of an active non-disclosure agreement and because i also skydive, i cannot disclose what studio i work for or the specifics of any projects/movies i've been on. Let's just say end of year 2015 and summer 206 will be an awesome time to go grab your popcorn and head to the movies.

    So what's been going on these days? Newbies still looking for advise on forums? Normiss and Skymama doing alright still? Any new prospects on the site?

    Forgot to add, i'm looking for a few DZ's i can jump at in the summer that hold record boogies...any recommendations?

    Looks like someone just made a first jump on accident near my house. We live in a rural area and we routinely have F-16s dogfighting over our house. Today they managed to collide and one of the planes went down. The pilot managed to eject and was not seriously injured. The plane crashed 4 miles north of my house. The other jet managed to make it back to Tulsa, OK.



    Glad all is ok..but there goes some pilot's career [:/]

    Pilot(s) might have some luck finding a job flying a cargo plane full of rubber dog shit out of Hong Kong. ;)

    LA Kings defenseman Slava Voynov has been suspended indefinitely by the NHL after a domestic violence arrest. From the personal side, I'm pretty bothered. One of those things I don't want to believe, but this looks bad. Apparently the girlfriend went to the hospital and the hospital staff reported the domestic abuse and Slava got pinched.

    And the Kings just cannot afford this in more ways than one. Slava is the No. 2 or 3 defenseman on the team. The other No. 1 or 2 (Muzzin) has been injured. Kings only have $500k of salary cap space, and Voynov is paid during the suspension, meaning no cap relief unless Bettman steps in and gives it.

    The Kings now have 6 defensemen on the active roster, including rookies Bodnarchuk (who had like 5 games of NHL experience with the Bruins a few years ago) and McNabb (who has maybe 30 games NHL experience in last five years). And no cap space to bring up Schultz or Forbot.

    Be real curious what Sutter and Lombardi will do.

    Thanks, guys. It's the upper thigh/hip/butt chunk. I got really lazy last winter the first time I hurt my knee skiing in December. The pounds just piled on.

    The beach where the sculpture is placed is not much of a beach but it does have some interesting characters milling about. You have to go down some stairs to get to the water and wade out past some rocks and seagrass to the sandy bottom. I've seen barracuda and sharks sometimes swim by in the distance when I get to about waist deep.

    I spend many, many nights watching the sunsets on the pier next to the beach. Also many sunrises as this is where I end my morning runs to sit at the end of the pier and take sunrise pictures and try to gather my scattered thoughts.

    This place is very healing to me.

    Well my fellow puckers. It's time!

    A few questions to start the season....
    After SO much hockey in three years (including a few Olympians), will the LA Kings be burned out come playoff time?

    Will Barry Trotz get the Caps dialed in?

    Will the Pens flourish or flounder under the new regime?

    Will the Canucks have a better season with Ryan Miller in goal and get to the playoffs?

    Will Colorado thrive without Statsny?

    Will the Blues have more firepower with him and go deep in the playoffs?

    Will the Hawks get to the finals after doing a slow simmer about the conference final loss?

    Will the Rangers make a run, or will Montreal or Tampa Bay fight it out in the East with the Pens?

    Finals prediction...LA Kings vs Pittsburgh Penguins!
