  1. I have 2 custom microns now and love them both. These rigs are super comfy, 99% of my jumps are swooping or canopy related and so I spend a lot of time in the harness and with the spacer foam, magnetic risers, and all stainless hardware, nothing beats it. fantastic rig from a fantastic company.

  2. The PD Velocity has to be THE smoothest flying canopy i've ever experienced. I have had the opportunitiy jump a 96, 90, and 84 at various loadings from 2.1-2.5 and it's an experience that can barely be described.
Also, coming from an Icarus (xfire, VX, JVX) background I found the transition to be fairly easy, though flying styles of the two different brands are definitely noticable. The Velocity is just a more pilotable canopy allowing you greater range from slow speed flight to high speed flight no matter what inputs one uses. And the openings, the openings are butter. smooth, relatively on heading, and predictable. my favorite thing to do with my Velocity, no matter what size, is to rip across a pond and lay the wing over in a nice super smooth carve that feels like you're a fighter pilot. the sensation simply put is fantastic.
lastly, the customer support of PD is by far the best in the industry. the products of the various companies out there might be similar in performance or price, but the support behind the product is not. PD has the backing to help you get through any maintenance issues or any other concern their customers have. That right there should be reason enough to go with PD and the Velocity, because why get hassled around for 6 months for the "latest and greatest" when you can go with a company that will back you no matter what the situation. Go with PD!

  3. So i've been jumping a factory diver for the past 2000 or so jumps and literaly trust it with my life. I'm a competitive canopy pilot on the PST along with the organizer for the NWCPC and i've had some "hairy" rides where my factory diver prevented injury and in one case maybe even death. it's durable, comfortable, has great vision, and i think good looking.

i don't jump it with a visor any more just cause i like the wind on my face, but also they don't make a tinted visor which i prefer, which might be the only draw back.

    thanks to Sky Systems

  4. VSE, makers of the Infinity, makes probably the highest quality of container out there today. no matter what your discipline is it WILL keep you safe and do it's job, while mantaining a sleak appearance.

the customer service at VSE is what sets these containers and company apart from any other company out there. they know the true meaning of how to take care of their customers.

if you want quality customer service and a great quality product go with Infinity.
