Hello everyone, I'm planning to get my first rig (a new container, reserve and Cypres + a used Pilot 168' canopy). My dealer recommends an Avalon, as it's pretty cheap and probably as good as Vector. http://www.avalonskydive.com/avalon-sport.php Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Would it be definitely better to add 500 euro and get an Icon Pro? Thank you for all the advice and information! 55 seconds of the real life

Interesting! Can you please give any links about the equipment you used? 55 seconds of the real life

Hi guys, Who used an Optima II with the LED accessory? What's your experience? Is it easy to secure on a full-face helmet? Does it make sence at all? I'm about to order one and need to decide, whether I should spend 80 euro more on the LED version. Thank you in advance! 55 seconds of the real life

Hello people, Has anyone had an experience of using a full-face helmet radio in freefall for communications between skydivers? What are the issues and equipment? Can you hear anything but noise? :) 55 seconds of the real life

Ha-ha, Viso, indeed :) So, it sounds like Optima II for me. Along with other concerns, the control is similar to Viso II. Memorizing how to operate another L&B interface type would be way too complicated :) Thank you for the advice! 55 seconds of the real life

Hi everyone, I've already got a Visio II and now thinking about an audible. Do you think it makes sense to buy a Pro-Track meaning Visio II has its own logging capabilities (well, not so detailed)? I like a bigger display of Pro-Track displaying the jump log in a readable manner and its PC connection option (btw, is it connected via USB or COM port?). On the other hand, Optima II boasts nice options for visual signals (LED) and additional low-speed warnings... 55 seconds of the real life

Thank you for the answers! REvolve is nice indeed with its option, but for some strange reason it's way more expensive in Germany, so it's easier to get another helmet if I want to jump open-face :) So, I'm going with the crowd and buying a G3. Any comments and advice are still appreciated. 55 seconds of the real life

Got an answer from our local reseller: yes, it is possible to install camera onto G3. You can install it with Contour HD Mount: http://www.cookiecomposites.com/shop/Accessories/93/index.htm The questions 3 and 4 are still open. I believe, typical camera helmets are open-face because movable visor makes it harder to install a camera, am I right? 55 seconds of the real life

Hello everyone, I'm new to skydiving and I'm going to buy my first helmet. I consider a full-face one as I wear glasses and don't want to mess with goggles. Everyone on my dropzone recommended me a Cookie G3, but I'm looking forward to shooting video when I get more experienced and it would be nice to use the same helmet for this purpose. So, here are my newbie questions: 1. Is it possible to mount a camera onto a G3? 2. Does this mount work only with a Bonehead REvolve: http://www.boneheadcomposites.com/m8/604--Bonehead%20Composites%20-%20Skydiving%20Helmet%20Contour%20Mount.html ? 3. What other helmets within 300-400 euro would you recommend for a small camera? 4. Why all the dedicated camera helmets are open-face? 55 seconds of the real life
