  4. It's Gary Coleman. No, No - that kid from "Webster". What do I win ? ----------------=8^)---------------------- "I think that was the wrong tennis court."
  5. F.Y.I. The answer came in from a boiler tech friend of mine at Wright Patterson A.F.B. (within 7 minutes): Those are carbon monoxide detectors. The canister is a particulate filter and the copper line goes to a pump that is drawing samples that are fed through an electronic analyzer and alarm system. ----------------=8^)---------------------- "I think that was the wrong tennis court."
  6. That could have negative consequences of the Federal kind. ----------------=8^)---------------------- "I think that was the wrong tennis court."
  7. The tubing disappears into the cast concrete column. Our quick field survey wasn't comprehensive enough to find the other end. ----------------=8^)---------------------- "I think that was the wrong tennis court."
  8. Does anyone know what these devices are? There were several of them cast into concrete columns of a parking garage. Attached photo G-1 is looking up at the bottom of one. G-2 is the side view. There is no electrical connection, and the copper tubing leads me to believe they are some type of air samplers? . . . . . Clueless. ----------------=8^)---------------------- "I think that was the wrong tennis court."
  9. You guys are supposed to . . . . . . . ----------------=8^)---------------------- "I think that was the wrong tennis court."
  10. You're never going to believe this, but it happened to me. I'm a truckdriver from the midwest, and I was given an address to deliver this crate labeled "Latex Products" to. I'm driving a couple hours, and I find the mailbox, turn up the winding drive, and see a sign that reads: "Home For Wayward Donna Mills Look-a-Like Nymphomaniacs". Just as I'm climbing down from the cab, to go up to the door . . . . . . . . ----------------=8^)---------------------- "I think that was the wrong tennis court."
  11. how about "JESUS CHRIST !!, IT'S GONNA BLOW !!" ----------------=8^)---------------------- "I think that was the wrong tennis court."
  12. Jevver have a sneeze that looked like this ? ----------------=8^)---------------------- "I think that was the wrong tennis court."
  13. Dude, Here's a machine. Cruiser styling, 100+ hp, Honda reliability. 1983 - 1987 V65 Magna. My next scooter. Plus, you can find 'em in good shape for $2,500 - $3,000 !! ----------------=8^)---------------------- "I think that was the wrong tennis court."
  14. BUSH!! (never saw a picture of him with Hanoi Jane) I'm sure one of you computer savvy lefties could Photoshop one, though. ----------------=8^)---------------------- "I think that was the wrong tennis court."
  15. You left out an option: OFTEN !! ----------------=8^)---------------------- "I think that was the wrong tennis court."
  16. Depends on where you are. Around here, an inspected "beater" goes for $400.00 - $600.00 ----------------=8^)---------------------- "I think that was the wrong tennis court."
  17. I was thinking the same thing, either a Unimog, or Pinzgauer variant. The "hood" length is too long for a Pinzgauer, and there is no evidence of the thing being made by Mercedes Benz, as the Mogs were. There is no visible badging on it anywhere. ----------------=8^)---------------------- "I think that was the wrong tennis court."
  18. I believe the engine is located amidships, as the thing has a "doghouse" between the seats. I believe the "mule" had little or no suspension (this guy has MONSTER coil springs) and a rear mounted, horizontally opposed, air-cooled 4 banger. I couldn't crawl under it at the time, to ascertain it's driveline layout, engine cooling method etc... but I did notice the differentials are tucked up very tight to the vehicle's underside, and there are no visible driveshafts from them to the wheel hubs. Almost like the critter has gear boxes behind the wheels - like the pre '67 Volkswagen vans, and Things had at the rear wheels. ----------------=8^)---------------------- "I think that was the wrong tennis court."
  19. I saw this vehicle sitting in the corner of a cornfield. It appears to be a "retired" military piece of some sort. It has a short wheelbase, 4WD, all independent heavy coil spring suspension and incredible ground clearance - that has been somewhat compromised by the owner's addition of snowplow bracket work. The images suck, because I had to step on them so hard to make them small enough to post, but I have high res. versions - that I will be glad to e-mail to any interested folks that may know what this cool critter is. ----------------=8^)---------------------- "I think that was the wrong tennis court."
  20. THAT is a beautiful thing. ----------------=8^)---------------------- "I think that was the wrong tennis court."
  21. I cannot believe no one said "BADGERS" yet. Whitetail Deer. . . . Beautiful, and delicious. and, of course - Labrador Retrievers (never ate one) ----------------=8^)---------------------- "I think that was the wrong tennis court."
  22. EXTREMELY COOL !! ----------------=8^)---------------------- "I think that was the wrong tennis court."

What does A Spaniard and a cue ball have in common? The harder you hit 'em - the more English you get. ----------------=8^)---------------------- "I think that was the wrong tennis court."
