  1. Lost the back door on my older model Contour also. Like you I had no luck locating it in anyone's parts list in stock including Contour. I contacted Contour by phone (since they reopened) and explained my problem and one of the guys there shipped one directly to me. Still using it. 2. There have been a few jumpers from the C130 crews in Little Rock that jump with us at West Tennessee Skydiving regularly. They all have been great to have around. One just moved to Guam and another moved up north. There are quite a few civilian jumpers that drive over most weekends to. "You don't get many warnings in this sport before you get damaged"
  3. Just got my Zulu 152 in. Only put a few jumps on it but with a 1.7 loading the openings are soft and on heading so far. Harness inputs are as advertised as well as front riser inputs. Takes only a small amount of flare for landings so plenty of flare in reserve if it needed and light touch on toggles for steering. Cant compare to other canopies since this is a downsize for me but it flys great and I can tell I will be enjoying it for awhile. "You don't get many warnings in this sport before you get damaged"

  5. Advise! Finish college and become very good and well paid for what you are studying! That way you can afford Skydivng and it can remain an enjoyable pastime. "You don't get many warnings in this sport before you get damaged"
  6. You'll be amazed how fast your outlook will change! Did my first and only hop and pop from 3500 about a year and a half ago. Was nervous as hell, rushed the deployment but it worked out. Did a 4500 last weekend on the way down because of clouds and was wanting to turn a point or two. Like all before have stated it's just about relaxing. 8. Email is on the post above but it won't help. This jackass sends the same crap to everyone who lists anything and changes his email address more than most change socks. "You don't get many warnings in this sport before you get damaged"
  9. Saw that too! "You don't get many warnings in this sport before you get damaged"
  10. When these responses show up I've started searching for the username on this site. They always show as "no results found". Would it be difficult to attach a required posting number or similar requirement for responses to adds? It's not a huge deal either way we all need to do the appropriate research to protect ourselves. "You don't get many warnings in this sport before you get damaged"
  11. This! I find that no matter what else is going on in life, be it work, relations, finances or anything else when I step out the door the wind takes it away for as long as freefall and canopy last. Nothing else gives me this piece of mind for as long or as completely. My non jumping friends look at me like I'm nuts when they ask me why I love it and I tell them it because it's "peaceful". 12. Think of it like this..... You have a total of 18 minutes of actual practice ( if you jump at a turbine DZ). Patience and practice! It take. Practice and only air time will get you there. Relax, breathe and enjoy. "You don't get many warnings in this sport before you get damaged"
  13. x2 I think you were thinking what I was thinking. "You don't get many warnings in this sport before you get damaged"
  14. This low life keeps trying this with different named e-mails and the same phone number. Wonder if we could get enough interested in bombing his phone and overloading his phone with messages and calls??? "You don't get many warnings in this sport before you get damaged"
  15. I got one from the same ASS using a different name and e-mail but the same phone number. Maybe the Mods can link his phone number, or someone track the number to a land address. That would be fun! "You don't get many warnings in this sport before you get damaged"
  16. May want to reach out and see why the "Soul Kia" add is chasing around the screen now. Cheap ass ad tricks pinging websites! "You don't get many warnings in this sport before you get damaged"
  17. What days, weekends I would recommend West Tennessee Skydiving. Good group of fun jumpers, fast plane with 0g's on every load. "You don't get many warnings in this sport before you get damaged"

  25. One of the experienced jumpers, that I highly respect, had a talk with me about chest straps. His thoughts were to always connect your chest strap first when putting on your rig. If that becomes your habit it lessens the chance of misrouting since its the first thing you do. Since then I've tried to follow that. Also the people I usually jump with make a habit of checking each others equipment both on the ground and in flight and asking for checks of theirs. Being safe doesn't take any fun away from the sport! "You don't get many warnings in this sport before you get damaged"
