hey guys. so I've been looking for a new camera helmet for a while. talked to the owner of Crener and he said that he could hook me up. they were about to come out with a new camera helmet. I haven't been able to jump it due to weather but I will say that the helmet fits perfect! much more comfortable than my bonehead. tons of space up top and the plate is replaceable. I got the optional laser on the top left side of the helmet. I think the only reason I got that was cool factor. lol. I have not weighed it yet but it is very light!! the great part about all of it was the price! I think around 360 USD. the chin cup is large enough that it doesn't want to slide. the cup straps are soft. it has a spot on the back, pre-drilled, for hypereye. hopefully I will get a chance to jump it next weekend. I will also say that dealing with Rene from Crener was a pleasure. the guy seems extremely nice and you can tell he loves what he does. great word dude! caution: I am by NO means am I a professional skydiver nor do I intend to be. the statement above is simply my short bus opinion so read at your own risk. :)

Agreed ^^ he built me an olympus emp 90deg switch. love it! keep trying, he has taken a day or two to email back before though. hang in there.

Still trying to figure out what colors. About all I know now is the canopy will be red. Still got 2 weeks before we start that process. They are very clean lines and about 40% was free hand. I can't wait for it to be finished the outline was a mother Fu*-er! The coloring is be even more so. No pain, No gain.

i know there are tattoo threads but mine is a bit different. i just got the outline done. waiting for this to heal then all the coloring in. got all the outline done in one sitting and let me say freaking A Shi! hurts! going to look bad A$$ though.

ok, i got my Olympus PEN E-PM1 with stock lens and did my first tandems. i also ordered a mouth switch from Martin at Exit Equipment. the switch isn't 90 deg but worked very well. very easy to push against the top of your mouth and take pics. it also took about a week to get to the states! so far im impressed with it all! i would say that the stock lens may not be the best but a wider angle lens. comparison to hand cams, it's perfect. i do need to mess with the settings a bit more for better pics. i am by no means a great camera guy or a professional photographer but i think this camera is awesome, especially since it's so light! any advice on setting would be awesome, or advice on types of lens i need. i was thinking a 20mm prime may be the way to go. here is a link to some pics. http://www.flickr.com/photos/99497854@N03/

any updates on you guys using mirrorless cameras? im really interested in seeing how they compare to SLR. also which mouth switches your using. thanks!
