  1. already registered for the boogie! also, I emailed to premanifest for a high alt load today, and the reply that I got was; "The price for high altitude jumps are $45 each. See you this weekend." I'm assuming that doesn't qualify as "pre-manifesting"
  2. I learned to pack this past spring, moved to tandems relatively quickly, and used the money that I made from packing to pay for my tandem/AFF progression and the rest of my jumps for my A-license. Skydiving is expensive, and I never would have been able to afford to pay for it all without doing it that way. I'd recommend learing and going from there. You have to know how to pack a chute for your A card anyway.
  3. Skydive Columbus loves new faces (dropping from the sky)
  4. I'm only 4 AFFs into the sport, and I was amazed at how much those people explained exactly how it feels for me. Nothing in the world can matter at the moment you leave the door. They nailed it.
  5. Thank you! I feel like I'm already a step ahead of the game with the whole packing thing. Now to just make 6 more jumps
  6. Hey everyone. I've been cruising the board for a while now. I'm a packer at Skydive Columbus and made my first AFF yesterday. I was hooked with my first tandem almost 12 years ago, and I finally decided to make the tandem to AFF progression. The jump was great. A caravan from Skydive Chicago was in town for the weekend so I got to jump at 13k. Looking forward to many fun filled years in the sport.
  7. I made my second every tandem here and it was phenomenal. I've now decided to take the jump course and eventually get licensed. These guys are great and will make sure that you have an enjoyable time.
