Weigh 155 pounds bare, went to a Safety Day, told them 155 pounds, still was weighed clothes on 164 pounds. Some DZ's do have scales, they weigh everyone.

Coreece, checked with Lifeline of Ohio, here is their reply "Yes a recipient can donate their transplanted organ upon their death if donation is possible. Thanks for the question and notification!"

Coreece. Know after the donor has passed, a medical test is done to see what organs can be used. Would not want to give you the wrong information. Can check with Lifeline of Ohio, give you a better answer. Will post it here.

skydiver30960 great input. Have done a number of health fairs,nurse usually are the donors, wide support.

Can still donate organs then be cremated. An ash dive is the best way for skydivers to go. One last jump.

John, know the people at where I am a organ donor mentioned after the donors death having open casket services still takes place.

Agree airdvr. Know in the USA there are 114,000 people waiting for organs.. So people can change those numbers. Just others have various questions, which need to be answered first.

The criteria is medical necessity. Have questions would be best to contact the organ donation organization for your state/community, they will be able to answer them. Blue Skies

Hi Jerry, Interesting to read about family members being able to over ride the donors decision. Know in Ohio the decision by the donor stands, unless the Medical Tests make the donation invalid. Glad you are helping out. Blue Skies

Am in the AFF program. Have a question how many Skydivers are Organ Donors? If not one maybe think about becoming one. Can also tell about you or family/friends being a recipient of organ donation. Or if you have any questions.

It is winter in Ohio, so this also helps me keep my mind focused on skydiving. May take some time and fly to Florida.

Thanks popsjumper, yes do know that if the pilot or instructor tells the jumpers get out now, to exit at that time. Just wanted to see it there were people that have been through it as to have good discussions.

Ryoder, thought the pilot wanted until th skydivers got out then they left the plane. Guess it depends on the situation.

Airwardo, just saying if a parachute got free in the plane, caught air, heading towards the door.

Am in the AFF program pursuing the A License. Has anyone been in a plane where the pilot has said "Get Out of the Plane Now!" or when the parachute has been on the run? How did you react, what were your thoughts? Just wondering.

Do eat pizza with anchovies. Others have pointed out the anchovies are too salty. Agree, so do not get anchovies on all my pizzas. Wanted to get a sign for a pizza shop that had "Real men eat anchovies."

In the AFF program, set for E1. The DZ is closing for the winter, so the downtime will be tough.
