I quit smoking cigarettes. A week ago. The four people whose bodies are in my backyard will testify to the addictive properties of nicotine.....and the irritability that withdrawal causes. Actually, I only miss it when I'm bored. I've always found it disgusting but when all hell broke loose in my life last year and someone left behind 4 packs while he left for better places I figured I might as well smoke em for him. On the subject of smoking other things....if I did they're kind of out of the question for a bit as I want to do egg donation. I don't see myself reproducing ever and I figure my genes should be passed on. My brethren must continue giving broke skydivers someone to borrow money from for generations to come. As for how good it feels to be free....I'm not sure about that. I never derived much pleasure from smoking. If I did I wouldn't have quit. But for those seeking encouragement....you're way more likely to get someone to put their tongue in your mouth if it doesn't taste like an ash tray! How was that for a pep talk?
