  1. I had the same issue with USA shipping and Canada customs, the cost is killer. It also delays the shipment by a couple days, and at times a up to 2 weeks because of customs delays. A family member recently showed me this great service. There's a PO Box service just across the Rainbow bridge in Buffalo (I see your located in Toronto). For a low price of $6(USD) they will receive your package and keep it however long it takes you to pick up the package. Be it 5hrs or 1 month it will be waiting their for you. Also because most online retailers offer free shipping within the USA you will save once again on more costs. http://www.cbiusa.com/services.php Blue Skies! 3. Just set up multi/rapid shot on your camera. 10-20 photos works good. Put them side by side in your favourite photo editing software and simply splice them together. 5. I'm sure you can do it! I broke my pelvis a few years ago as well. When I first started skydiving I didn't think about it at all. As I was learning to skydive my instructors said my arms and chest were arched, but at my crotch I bent like I was sitting in a chair. I did S/L progression so my freefalls were 5 seconds then 10 seconds, 15s, then top floor. I watched the video and it looked like I was seating in an invisible chair. I was perfectly fine once I picked up some speed (3-5 seconds after the exit) it was just sitting in the door then arching from that position that seemed to be difficult. It was just jumping out and arching right away that I seemed slow at. I never went unstable or had issues maintain stable. My instructors (and I) just weren't to pleased and something could have gone wrong/gone unstable. I did some practice on my arch and exit before going to top floor/60 second free fall on the ground. I was jumping out of a Cessna 206 for my initial low altitude jumps. The DZ i go to uses a Caravan for top floor. My first exit out of it felt and looked (on video) alot better. I was able to stand outside the door and just step off/arch. I felt it much more comfortable doing this. My instructors were alot happier with this exit as well. The best tip i got was 'try to stick your dick in the wing'. Look at the wing/ahead of the plane and try and f*ck it when you jump out. Worked like a charm for me. And it was pretty funny to think of to take my mind off any worry I had. I'm sure with some coaching you will do just fine! Have fun and good luck. Blue Skies! 6. Is this serious? Seems like there are many things that could go very wrong... 7. Most base rigs are a 2 pin system. One near the top, 1 near the bottom. Containers are generally smaller in size, but mostly stick off your back less. More aerodynamic for tracking/WS and less bulk. Container flaps close in a different order and are designed to open in a different order/sequence. There is no D-bag to hold the chute when packing it. Risers/Canopies are designed to have slight control while opening to keep on heading. More accurate/on heading openings. The wall/object is not your friend and you want to get away from it as far and fast as possible (generally speaking). There is proxy flying, but you still want to deploy well away from the wall and facing away. Canopies can be packed differently, for faster deployment and greater reliability/consistency. There can be slider down or removed for subterminal jumps, generally no greater than ~4 second delays. They open faster and more accurate/on heading Pilot Chutes come in various different sizes (as do skydiving) but people tend to change them up a more depending the on object/height. There is vented/non vented PC's (same with skydiving) but can be more critical because oscillation of the pilot chute can contribute to off-heading openings. No cutaway handles. Also, never heard of an AAD on a base rig. - Not being a BASE jumper, only a curious individual as yourself that is what I know and probably am not the most accurate in information Go to Basejumper.com and just read whatever you can Blue Skies! 9. Yes, it does. The functionality of (self-)hypnosis has been researched, so if you want to argue with science, be my guest and be a Christian You stated that you still utilize "cheap religious tricks" to cure your headaches...when asked to elaborate, you changed your story and called it "self-hypnosis." The "cheap religious trick" is what you believe is right. The "self-hypnosis" is taking that "trick" and making it part of you. Smoke meth, Hail Satan Blue Skies! 10. Well there's this expression "going Dutch" and else there's always roofies. But more seriously, I think we agree for the most part. Sex is often used as a trade commodity or a negotiation tool, so indeed, define prostitution. You don't pay for the sex, you pay for them to leave right after your done ;) Blue Skies! 11. Read Skyrads post again. On other forums (not skydiving, just forums in general) you probably would have been IP perma-banned and your account deleted. IMO You're lucky you can still see this website and don't get an error when you type in dropzone.com, let alone your account still can post. Blue Skies! 12. From Jeb: " The future of wingsuit proxy is here! The container is the size of a Mirage G3 170. We were able to fit a Flix 266 Ultra Light in. Soon it will be setup for proxy flying after tests in the sky" I found that from a couple months ago when he first posted this picture. Besides the fact that he fit a larger canopy into a smaller size container I know nothing. The thing i could imagine it changes the size of container takes up alot less room than needed with a larger canopy. Means more aerodynamic. Blue Skies! 13. I dont know colorado laws, but if theres no death penatly, going to prison I don't think he would last very long. 14. Hey everyone! I've been lurking the forums for a few months getting ready to start skydiving and just like to say hi as I make my way into the sport! I had my first jump today thanks to the great folks at Parachute School Toronto (Canada)! It was a static line jump from ~3000ft on what I believe to be a PD (Navigator?) 260 main. To say the least I loved it! I have always wanted to learn to skydive and I plan on working on my Solo Certification/A license this summer. Just like to say thanks to everyone and welcome!
