    The school here in Eloy is Adventures In Skydiving. They regularly see students who travel to Arizona specifically so finish AFF in a week. If you have already done some jumps and tunnel time in Perris, you will be able to count those jumps towards your license. 

    The best time to jump in Eloy is between the months of October and and March. During these months, it is absolutely possible to make 4 jumps a day. There is also a wind tunnel on site that you can practice in to help you pass your levels. There is a bunkhouse to stay in which is $8 USD per night with free hot showers and free WiFi. 

    The view at Eloy is also a desert but we have beautiful mountains (Picacho Peak and Newman Peak) that look like the desert scenery in old Western films.

    Cowboy Shoot Out - Last Load Friday - Landing competition where you will shoot for accuracy, shoot a paintball gun at a target, and shoot a shot of tequila - Register at Manifest the day of the event.

    BBQ Rib Dinner with music by Ke Dime - Tickets $10 - Outside the Bent Prop - Food starting at 7:00 pm - Music starting at 7:30 pm - Tickets on sale at Manifest all day Friday and at the Bent Prop Friday evening (tickets limited).

    SATURDAY EVENTS

    4-Way Day with Arizona Airspeed and Arizona Relentless - This event groups three skydivers with similar skill levels and a member of Arizona Airspeed or Arizona Relentless to make 4-way FS skydives and train like a team for the day. Come learn the randoms and blocks for the first time or brush up on old skills; all experience levels are welcome to participate. New skydivers are especially encouraged to attend. There is no additional charge for the event beyond the cost of your own jump tickets. Meet at 8 am in the Manifest hangar. If you are planning to participate please email [email protected].

    Arizona Arsenal Upright Bigways - Arsenal will be organizing upright formations all day! To participate in this event you must be able to fly relative and take docks in a group of 8 people. Meet at 8 am in the Manifest hangar. If you are planning to participate please email [email protected].


    Wild West Party - Kicking off at 8 pm at the Bent Prop - 25 cent Boogie beer (Registration wrist band required) - Mechanical Bull - Live Country Music (9 pm) by the Davis Highway Band

    Wild West Costume Contest - Photo Booth open from 9 to 11 pm
    TO WIN: Have your picture taken at the Photo Booth. The pictures will be posted on Facebook Monday morning. The three photos with the most Likes (on the Skydive Arizona page ONLY) by noon Saturday April 26th will win prizes. You must be registered for the Easter Boogie and tag yourself in the picture in order to win prizes.

    The Executive Producer of The Real Winning Edge TV show airing on Fox stations across the country, is eager to find a top-level youthful skydiver with an inspirational story to tell for the new Fall season. Our show lifts up positive youthful role models as examples to other youth. This show is a win-win.

    There are specific criteria for them to be on the show including 1. Good Character 2. Must be articulate 3.Must have overcome some life difficulty (poverty, drugs, poor family life etc.) 4. Has a history of performing at a high level in their sport/art 5. Must be in either high school or in college this Fall (16 to 22 and single). 6. Finally, we love it if they have a faith influence in their lives.

    Your nominee will be introduced by a top-level professional athlete or artist from a similar sports/art. In this case, Jeff Gordon. You can see some of our past profiled youth and celebrities in the attachments.

    It is certainly a great honor and opportunity to spotlight the good that youth are doing. We really want to hold them up to other youth and the world as positive examples how making good decisions, having great mentors, and maybe even having faith in a higher power can help us have the Real Winning Edge in life.

    Hopefully this year they will not be setting a bad example by swooping into the landing area near manifest right into the pattern where non swoopers are landing. They did that a lot last year.



    Would be good to then chat to the DZO and events manager if those are concerns you feel need to be addressed, and doing so only after you, yourself have maybe had a chat to the individuals.
