  1. Plus or minus six hours, there is no limit on the number of students, depends on the facilities. More people the longer the course will take since there will be more questions and more people requiring additional explanations.
  2. Just give the pilot a skydive altimeter that he can set to zero. Reference this for jump run, set aircraft altimeter to barometric pressure, reference this with ATC. Question-you are jumping at DZ that is 2,500 feet higher then your take off airport how do you set your altimeter????
  3. I do not wish to comment on the instructors performance. If you feel is was deficient it would be best to review the jump with the student, yourself and the instructor in order to identify problems and find solutions. If the instructor is truly incompetent not having your friend jump with fixes nothing and may leave others exposed.
  4. Not terrible but does not make him sound professional. Hope it is at a better level when communicating with ATC. .
