  1. Thats alot of good information. Thank you for the detailed response. I wish Everyone could be that helpful.
  2. Great info. Thanks for your input.
  3. Is there anything you really should not do while packing(anything that can damage the container?)
  4. How many times can you really downsize in a container before it become to soft? I have heard many answers. between 1 and 3 sizes depending on cells, closing loop length, closing loop placement, canopy pack volume, manufacturer, ect. anyone who has actually tested this would be much appreciated.to be more specific, I have a Dolphin D-6 and a 9-cell 260. I want a Sabre2 230. any educated suggestions?
  5. My packing seems to be coming along nicely. My only problem seems to be keeping line tension while packing. My lines are dacron and have a bit more bulk. Whenever I look back to check the lines, it seems that they are always dangling. my riser are straight and the slider is down on the stops. sometimes they are tight but always loosen back up. By the time I stow the lines, they are not even or organized stows because the lines seem to be uneven. I fell like I have tried everything. Why can't I keep them even!!! Advice, techniques?
  6. Yes, I have checked the website. However, there seems to be so many opinions on how far you can actually downsize in one container. I have a 260 in it now and is snug. The recommended size is a 280. I figured if a 260 is snug a 230 wouldn't be to loose. I thought I would ask around to see if anyone has done this or has packed something similar. If I can't get any good answers Ill give Mike at Altico a call.
  7. Would a Safire 2 230 ffit well in a Dolphin D-6 container?
