  1. Looks as though you guys had a great f'n time. I love it when the Texas freeflyers get together. D.J.
  2. I'll be working for The Man that weekend but it sounds like everyone will have a blast. Wish I could be there to hang my feet out of a tent. D.J.
  3. You need to keep up with the times my friend. The number is 14!!! We broke our own record of 13 a few jumps later. Team VIBE (Brandon Chouinard, Jon McCollum, and D.J. Hatton), Paul Mann, Johnny Kuczaj, Shannon Kidd, Dereck "Goat" Griffin, Scott Fittz, Scott Harper, Luke Hively, Bryan Moffett, Robert Smith, Casey Anderson, and Aaron Necessary. Chris Chapman and Blake Johnson provided amazing f'n video and stills. That list of names only includes one flyer that is NOT a Texas jumper...thanks to Wichita for sending Harper our way. I've attached a frame from the video to wet appetites. I've sent out an e-mail to all participants but want to thank everyone for everything they've done to make this happen. D.J.
  4. Nice pick Jeff. I seem to remember Shannon getting molested on a jump last Halloween but not quite to the same extent. I'm gonna have to see if I can pull a frame grab of it. Do you happen to have the video of the jump with the crotchdock? See ya this weekend Shannon. D.J.
  5. Freak Monkey Sit Train StairStack 69 Backfly Geek the camera Cork
  6. VIBE will be there to jump on Saturday. Is there a place to pitch a tent (so to speak) and shower? Or will I have to use bottled water to wash the puke off of my clothes? D.J.
  7. Arkansas...go to Skydive Wichita! It is in Kingman about 40 miles West of Wichita. You can PM one of the owners, nitrodan, or look up the website...it has their contact info. Tell 'em I sent ya. I've had a great time each visit I've made. D.J.
  8. Freefly teams have THREE people not two!!!!! Peter kicks ass also! The other two guys are simply a target, haha. D.J.
  9. LOL. You ripped your avatar from one of the guys on the team. That picture is NOT you! D.J.
  10. Paul...Me and Chaps have been planning on coming down to the Boogie for a while but I ain't f'n jumping with you...haha. We are gonna do some (insert Napolean voice) sweet jumps. D.J.
  11. Yes, the key is to lean back as far as possible. This will allow you to move forward and drill the other flyer ensuring positive contact...haha. This was my plan for when we worked on it Chappy but since you can't wait.... -Both ppl sit fly. -Top person base. Dock will be on the feet. -Lower person establish relativity and levels so that the top person's feet are at shoulder level and close. Your arms will be bent about 90 degrees not straight out when you go for the dock. -As you begin to reach forward with both hands, flare out your lower legs. -Do not try to dock and fly. Just practice touching both feet with your hands at the same time and then back to neutral. As you find the leg position that works for you, the dock will get easier and you can begin to actually take the dock and then begin to start learning to fly it. Now go back to visualizing the camera angle for the VRW stuff! Stop wasting time! D.J.
  12. I'll give you the opposite advice that I gave to Chapsta when he asked about slowing down. You just gotta eat more munchies! D.J.
