  1. Get yourself an N3 for visual. It logs your jumps, has a backlight for night jumps, you can configure drop zones, aircrafts and so on using your computer. You can upload all the data it collets from your jumps to your computer as well. No battery changes needed. just charge it with a mini usb. It holds power for well over a week of jumping if its not to cold. Then get an audible like a optima, solo or whatever for your helmet.

    Freeflysuit

I'm a fairly fresh jumpeer who started jumping last year. I have about 80 jumps and for the first 40 i used a crappy Pittz suit. I got tired of it and ordered a Sonic V.2. I love it. It have far more range than the pittz suit. both my tracking and sit skills have improved after I got my new suit. I paid the rush fee on the suit, and it took about 2 weeks for them to make it for me.
  3. Skydive Voss in Norway! Check out Voss 2.0 on vimeo or youtube :)
  4. Thank you Mike =) It looks like I have to do some research on this one
  5. Thanx. I'll check out flight prices and stuff to Chicago :) I'm going back to FL but i'll wait until january/february I think.
  6. Hi guys! I live in Norway and i'm thinking about taking a trip over the atlantic to jump for 2-3 weeks. Where should I go? I spent 3 weeks in z-hills during march. I loved the DZ but i've been told it's very hot in florida during this time of year? What would you Suggest?

  8. I-34 is the way to go. I have an I-34 with a Safire2 169 and a optimum 160. Fits perfect
  9. Ok. I can see your point. I will never be a good canopy pilot because i'm using a digital alti and not an analog I only have 52 jumps and just got my B license so im still a student imho. Offcourse i set up my pattern according to the wind, but i feel more confident with an alti i can read my altitude more precicely off. For me the analog showed to general altitude below 1k feet. I did a canopycourse with martin sebastian i z-hills, and he told me to start doing 90' frontrisers on my 22. jump, so I think I might be both a good skydiver and canopy pilot some day
  10. In my case, at least an digital alti works much better. As a student I used a regular analog. My landing pattern was ok, but i almost never landed at the same spot, regardless of believing to be at the same altitude at fixed points in the pattern. Off student status I got an N3 and my landing pattern became better and I felt i had more control on my altitude in the landing pattern. I also use an optima 2 both for freefall and canopy alarms. As for freefall imho the digital alti is much easier to read. All the features in this alti helps me to fill out my logbook in the end of the day. It keeps track of exit alti, deployment, freefalltime, canopytime, and it has a clock on it. It even tells you how long it is till you reach exit-altitude. After I took my aff the students at my DZ now is equipped with both digital altis and a dytter. This a after a testperiod which showed everybody that the students landings and landing patterns became better while using this "tools".
  11. My first rig. Wery satisfied! I-34 with a optimum 160 and a safire 2 169. black hardware, mesh backpadding, floating laterals an ekstra wide legstraps. supercomfy. LOVE IT
  12. Come to Voss, norway and do you AFF course! Book the course june 16th, and plan for a two week stay. Then you most probably get your A-licence during the first week, and the week after that is the extremesportsweek with lots of fun stuff going on :D course starts on saturday, and you start jumping on monday. Their course includes some windtunnel as well. There is actually some courses wich have done all their 7 AFF level jumps in one day there. Great DZ if i might say so. http://www.skydivevoss.no/en/ http://vimeo.com/35979987
