  4. I just finished my AFF program on Saturday!! I managed to pass all 7 levels first time thru. My wallet was super stoked. Although i almost failed level the i got a little hung up on exit from the 206 on exit and had my shoe snagged and ripped off. Luckly it managed to get shot back into the airplane. I did my AFF at skydive Taft and my instructors Joey and Dan were awesome!! Everybody at taft is just great. Super good atmosphere!! I did two solo jumps after i did level 7 on saturday. And they were by far the most fun and LONGEST jumps so far. I am truely addicted to this sport!! Nothing has every consumed every thought in my head like skydiving has. Im addicted!! Im in Love!! Cant wait for this weekend to get here!!!!
  5. the c-206 at my dz was really tricky for me i did my first 2 affs in a 182 and that exit was really easy. but the 206 has the door in the rear so there is no step to climb out on to hold the strut. on my first exit from it my foot got snaggen on the little step used to climb in my shoe got ripped of and it yanked my ankle alil caused me to loose one JM. i got super lucky cause my shoe flew back in the plane. i was super worried about my landin but ended up having my best one yet and landed nice and easy on my one foot.
  6. skydive taft does up to 275 im 250 and in the process of doin my AFF there. Everybody is awesome there. i cant recommend it enough.
  7. It does get more complicated if you're extra light or extra heavy, say, under 150 lbs or over 220 lbs body weight, but if you're inbetween there, the numbers above are a good starting point. Figure out your WL for your previous jumps, and keep track of it as you try different rigs the school has to offer. Above all else, always consult with an instructor before making changes with regards to the gear you are jumping. im 6' 2" and 250 where would i start
