  2. go to skydive taft in socal they will take you care of you!!!
  3. If you have trouble finding a canopy course in your area check out Brain Germains online courses. They r awesome. I took it and it changed everything i thought i knew about canopy control. You just have someone record you canopy fight from the ground and they watch it with him and he with review it with you and tell you what to do to improve. Its awesome and Brian knows his stuff. Also definitly get a copy of the parachute and its pilot. that is his book. and remember line tension is key while under canopy its only your canopy as long as you have line tension so you always want to maintain it. here is the link to his online classes. http://adventurewisdom.com/home.html
  4. that was classic he was stable... until pull time hahahha
  5. nice deployment on your level 1. haha that looked exciting.
  6. just go to your general dr and he will get xrays and refeer you if nesacary
  7. check out skydive taft they r closer to you and a great place to learn its alot smaller so you get an amazing about of attention and learn alot from the jumpmasters there. i cant recommend it enough. they r also alot cheaper than perris or elsinore.
  8. chris was the pilot on that jump. haha
  9. if you go to san marcus say whats up to chris one of the pilots he used to fly out at Taft.
  10. So you take the guy's canopy control course, and you completely dismiss his recommendations for wing load. Nice. Not at all. In fact i had a discussion with him before down sizing and only did it with his recommendation. so quite the opposite of what your assuming! By no means does he teach you to go radical. He teachs you to be safe and not fly outside your ability. Its gonna vary with each individual. All i was saying that i highly recommend his course. And that it will make u a better pilot. And thats it.
  11. Your not gonna be able to stall the manta 260s at taft. Trust me i have tried really hard. lol. But you can get it to stall with rear risers. but still not easy there is alot of line tension. Look into getting the altitrack thats what i got and absoultly love it. It gives you the look of a analog but has a complete logbook that will tell you everything about you jump. i also just bought a optima 2 audible and it is awesome as well. i reccommend both. And i like fat tire ill see you in 2 weeks at the boogies and we will have a beer then. And congrats on kickin some ass on you AFF so far. Who were your jump masters on 4 and 5.
  12. yes rentals r free at sq1 when u order a rig thru them until yours shows up. as for the belly suit i dont have that much money to burn so i am only able to order a FF suit.
  13. you should look into takin brian germains canopy course. I did and its the best thing i have done since starting to skydive. I have 40 jumps and have been jumpin a sabre 2 210 with a WL @1.3 and have had nothing but stand up landing. I truely believe i wouldnt have been able to do this safely without what i learned in his course.
  14. I just ordered mine over the weekend at bridge the gap in elsinore from square 1! I cant wait to get it!! ill be postin pics the day it comes in. I also ordered the liquid sky jumpsuit to match my liquid sky infinity. Ill be putting a Pilot 210 ZPX with a smart 190 reserve and cypres 2. This is gonna be the longest 3 months ever waiting for it to get here! Blue Skies
