i thought that pilots, sabre 2's and safire 2's r all considered simi eliptical. R they and would you not consider them a good choice?

last time i talked to brian germain about downsizing, the question he asked me was can i land my current canopy crosswind, downwind, uphill, downhill, and in a back yard. and if the the answers were yes then it was time to start thinking about downsizing. but not necessarly downsize imediately, but just start thinking about it. Its really good to see this thread being a very productive thread about learning and making good safe decisions. not a bunch of ppl just saying your gonna bounce.

you chose wisely!! i have a g3 as well and love it! i have a huge head and it was the only one i found that fit. i have to remove the front mouthpiece as well. the field of vision is huge with it. and it has yet to fog on me. im sure you will love it too!

i just ordered one, the wait time is alot less than the FF suits. Its around 8 weeks for a RW suit and If you ordered a FF suit youd be lucky to see it by March.

i fall super fast too im 6'2" and 250lbs. ON a couple of my aff jumps one of my reserve side instructor went into a sit to keep up with me. but he never let go and was always there. On lvl 4 when he moved infront of me he was in a sit and that was awesome to see.

It was my 3rd or 4th solo jump after aff. At 3500 ft the pilot looks back and tell us theres a problem and we need to get out now! the door rolled up and i said " i can still read the stop sign and you want me to get out!" so i did. lookin back its one of my favorite and most exciting jumps. but at the time it was the scariest.

Has anyone flown both of these reserves that can compare how they fly and land?

the audible is not mounted on your wrist. it goes in a pocket next to your ear in you helmet.

it cant hurt at all and its cheaper than failin a level. me and a bunch of my friends all did tunnel time during our affs and it helped us for sure.

I think your thinkin of the optima audiable not the viso which is a digital visual altimiter.

my first H&P was a auctual emergecy exit. i remember the door goin up and thinkin i could still read the stop sign, and u want me to get out!? but it was better than riding the plane down. so i jumped got stable right away and dumped. that was one hell of a rush.

what is a psycho pack and what r the difference between that and a pro pack??
