  1. Here is something "not for the faint of heart" almost in your backyard. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=blz2pzrdzao It's a cool video of Black Bear Pass between Ouray and Telluride. There are other videos that are longer than this one, but not everyone here might have the patience to sit through a 20 minute video. So this condensed version gives you an idea. Now I have not personally done this trail ... yet ... but we have similar exposed terrain here in the Alberta Rockies and as you can see, go slow in 4-low and you can do it. But it helps to be a little crazy. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  2. When we offroad in the Canuckistani Rocky mountains, we are also only going about 3mph. haha ... I never knew going so slow would be so much fun. But it is. Just don't F-UP. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  3. Without a doubt, we're talking death if the driver makes a mistake on these roads as seen in the video. But I am guessing not a lot of people here have been doing very much offroading. Now I don't have a video with as steep of a drop off as seen in this video, but I did tons of offroading this summer on extremely narrow trails with drop offs that would also result in death if the driver was to make a mistake and the only difference I see with this video and some of the trails I did this summer is, where are all the boulders to crawl over? Try some of these narrow "you better not make a mistake" trails and then throw in a 3 foot boulder ledge to climb up or down over at the same time. haha This is different, but a similar danger. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  4. This begs for a satellite photo link of your new airport so we can all admire it with you... Think I found it with google maps ... https://www.google.ca/maps/place/East+Berlin,+PA,+USA/@39.959805,-76.995644,3500m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m2!3m1!1s0x89c8f7a6c35deb1b:0x14d0a43119920452 assuming this is it, it took me less than 15 seconds to find it. Of course finding it in person would take longer ... haha Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  5. I'm not a Christian. They tried to make me into one, including my own family members. Heck I even tried to become one myself on more than one occasion to be closer in tune with some in my family including my mother. But the Agnostic in me won out. I guess I won't be with my family in heaven. Anyway because I am not a Christian, I am not about to defend Christians who have murdered or enslaved people based on their religious beliefs. But I don't see a Christian Caliphate going on. Do you? Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  6. Theres difference between Islam and Islamist inspired terrorism. I am confused. You say you agree with me, but then you let your own Political Correctness come out. I am sure we can agree that not all Muslims are terrorists. In fact given than there are over a billion Muslims in the world, it is safe the say that the majority of Muslims are not terrorists. But Islamists are nothing more than a militant perverse persuasion of Islam and need I remind you that Islam's Holy Book the Koran has countless violent references in it on how to kill the infidel (you know none believers of the Islamic faith). Make no mistake Islamists are still practicing Islam and if any Islamic person is preaching violence in yours, mine or some other western secular nation, stop the Politically Correct bull shit and call them out on it. This is not going to go well if we don't stand up for what we believe in. Our father's and father's father's were not the pussy we are now back in 1939 through 1945. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  7. You claim this is a conspiracy theory. However there is no theory. Thanks to access to information, we now know the executives from the CBC, CTV, Global and CityNews have entered into consortium with each complete with a signed document stating they will not broadcast political ads they do not agree with. It's all there in writing complete with signatures. You say this is because these networks want money, except "Fair Dealing / Fair Use" makes it perfectly legal for anyone to use portions of news broadcasts without permission, without financial compensation. You say this isn't about the Shiny Pony, except how did this consortium all begin? It began because Peter Mansbridge was upset that the CPC created a political ad when they took a small clip from an interview Mansbridge had with the Shiny Pony right after the Boston Marathon Terrorist bombing and the totally idiotic response Trudeau gave to Peter's question. Mansbridge is not stupid, Mansbridge is aware of "Fair Dealing / Fair Use". No Mansbridge went running to his CBC boss because he was upset that his own journalism made his Shiny Pony look like the fool that Trudeau is. Hey Canada lucked out on Wednesday. Canada is lucky that we were attacked by a poorly armed single assailant. If a similar Islamic Terrorist militant force that attacked Mumbai several years ago actually attacked the House of Commons, we would have a dead PM right now along with countless other dead Parliamentarians, their staff, who knows how many law enforcement and innocent civilians would be dead too. It's time to wake the fuck up. The Shiny Pony and his pals in the consensus mainstream Media Party may not want to call this a terrorist attack. But it was. It was just a poorly planned, poorly executed attack. PS: not impressed at all with Jennifer Ditchburn's story in the National Post yesterday about how the Prime Minister hid in a closet alone for 15 minutes during the attack. What BS. What did she expect the unarmed, unguarded PM of a G7 nation to do when gunfire could be heard on the other side of the door. Who knows who would walk through the door next? A friendly or an assassin? Then again Ditchburn is part of the Media Party consortium you say does not exist despite the signed document saying it does. Ditchburn probably thought it was all in good fun when the Liberal Party of Canada posted a spoofed Harper Assassination picture on their official website back in 2009. You remember that don't you? You know all those Liberals got a good laugh out of it until word got out that every day people (that would be Canadians) were not impressed with the Liberal's sick and twisted humour. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  8. Hopefully you are aware of "Fair Dealing" (also known as "Fair Use" in the USA) and how it applies to the existing Copyright Laws. There is nothing illegal in the current laws with using footage from news organizations. Heck the Supreme Court just ruled on the issue two years ago. You would think the consensus mainstream media who uses "Fair Dealing" everyday to do their own jobs would be aware of this. But for some reason they don't? I don't buy it. Nobody is allowed to make the Shiny Pony look bad. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  9. I get to vote in an Alberta Provincial by-election next week and what I get to experience for the first time in my life is that I get to vote for or vote against the leader of the incumbent party as this leader is trying to win a seat and become the Province's Premier after the previous Premier stepped down once her corruption became too much for even her biggest allies to stomach and this incumbent candidate chose my riding to run in. You better believe this is an important election that could very well be too close to call until all the votes are cast and counted. When I received my voter card telling me where to vote and when I could vote, the card also asked me to bring two forms of ID, one being a picture ID with a long list of acceptable picture IDs they would accept and the other ID being another long list of IDs. There had to be a good 30 to 40 forms of ID they would accept. Oh and here in Alberta there is not a law that states no-ID, no-vote. But that doesn't stop the election officials from asking people to properly identify themselves, to verify that they do indeed live in the jurisdiction. So tell me how would you feel if you showed up in an election you think is extremely important only to be told "Sorry you're on record for already voting". Does it happen often? Of course not. It's pretty rare. But it can and has happened and I will be extremely pissed off if on Monday I am denied my right to democracy. Government screws me over in so many different ways, voting for or against the incumbent Party's candidate is the only way I know to fight back against the system. It does not take too much effort to identify yourself to the election official so that I don't steal your vote or you don't steal mine. Seriously, you're telling me you can't come up with two sets of IDs from a list of close to 40 different acceptable forms of IDs? What a joke. You don't believe in democracy. You only believe in preserving your entitlements. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  10. We need to stop being so politically correct with the Mosques and stop this nonsense of labeling people Islamophobic when they speak out against Islamist violence. If a Mosque is preaching radicalism, they need to be dealt with immediately. NO more sugar coating this politically correct BS. I am not afraid, despite the two attacks on Canada in the last few days. I don't want the government infringing on people's rights with new spying legislation. I cherish my freedom just as much as I cherish the freedom of people who don't quite see the world the same way I see it. But if someone commits a crime, if someone threatens violence, they are criminals and need to be treated as criminals. The fellow responsible for this crime today was arrested in Vancouver in 2011 for armed robbery (not sure what weapon he used, I am guessing it was something like a knife). But when it came time for his court appearance, the charges for his 2011 crime spree were reduced and he only ever spent one day in jail. Yet another in a long list of examples where the legal system has failed us. PS: I work closely with a Muslim fellow and today he and I interacted in a friendly, courteous and professional way like all the other days since we began working together three years ago. Despite today's event, our work relationship did not change, nor should it change. Just because I do not approve of the Progressive's PC agenda towards Islam doesn't mean I can't have a meaningful productive professional relationship with people of the Muslim faith. My Muslim work colleague keeps his beliefs to himself and I keep my beliefs to myself. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  11. So was I and I learned something new about our country today. I always looked at this fellow wearing his goofy looking clothes and goofy hat, holding that wand with his sword thinking "Oh good grief will we ever rid ourselves of of this weird British Parliamentary symbolism". But little did I know that the Sergeant in Arms is armed, is in charge of security in the HoC and Mr Vickers has many years of law enforcement experience under his belt. I still think the Sergeant in Arms wears goofy looking clothes and a goofy hat. But I will never think "Good grief what a dork" anymore. Thank you for what you did today Mr Kevin Vickers. Your heroism and act of bravery along with all the other Law Enforcement staff who rushed towards the gun fire saved the lives of many parliamentarians and their staff. PS: Classy act for the Pittsburgh Penguins NHL hockey club and all the hockey fans in Pittsburgh this evening who shared in the playing of the Canadian national anthem prior to the start of this evenings Penguins/Flyers NHL hockey game. Typically the only time the Canadian anthem is played is when a Canadian based team is playing that night. But tonight the Penguins and the hockey fans at the game reminded us that the USA is still Canada's best friend in the world. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  12. Perhaps you rely too much on the consensus mainstream media. You didn't actually think that CBC, CTV, Global and CityNews would tell us about this signed agreement of theirs now did you? You couldn't be that obtuse to think the media would expose themselves for their own anti-competition and censorship desires now did you? We never would have known about this agreement if it had only been between CTV, Global and CityNews since they are all private businesses. No it was public broadcaster CBC (who is open to access to information rules) who initiated the consortium and it was because someone asked to read the emails CBC executives had with the executives of these other three networks which exposed the consortium. I think you need to look outside the box, do a little of your own homework and less relying on the Media Party because the evidence is there which exposes this signed agreement between the Gang of Four. haha Not to worry though as I full confidence that Justin will sweep to a massive Liberal majority next year and we will never need to worry again about being attacked because the Unicorns, the Fairies with their Pixie Dust and Sugar Plums will be looking out for all us little people. PS: thanks to Tom Clark's hard hitting take no prisoners journalism, we do know what shampoo Justin uses, though I suspect (I have no proof) Justin lied to Tom when he said "I use what ever is in front of me". With hair as good as Justin's, no normal shampoo will do. Only Wen can deliver the results Justin has. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  13. Not talking about this news coverage of this event. Talking about the fact that these four so called news organizations have already been exposed for entering into a signed agreement with each other to act as one when it comes to protecting the Shiny Pony. My bad for bringing up the fact that the consensus mainstream media is in bed with your beloved LPC, even when the LPC is lead by an intellectual retard. Oh silly me, I forgot. Nobody is allowed to criticize the Shiny Pony anymore. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  14. Pity that you choose to ignore the fact that these four major news organizations have already entered into a signed agreement with each other to act as a unified news consortium. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  15. Tragic event for sure. Nobody wanted this to happen. But I am not so sure this has changed society. If you listen to Progressives this is 100% Harper's fault and once Trudeau takes over, all our worries will go away. Where's the problem? I don't see a problem. Well maybe there will be a problem between now and the next election. But after the next election there will not be a problem. We already know all the major media outlets in Canada (CBC, CTV, Global and CityNews) have all formed a consortium with each other including signed documents by the executives at these organizations to protect Justin Trudeau from any political attack ads that the Media Party disapproves of. So once Justin is crowned as PM ... we have nothing to worry about. Canada can go back to our utopian society where Unicorns, and Fairies with pixie dust and sugar plums bless the lives of all us little people because nobody will ever attack us while Justin is PM. I can't wait. Now who needs another hit from this bong? Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

  17. It's been reported that Eldon Burrier was the tandem instructor who passed away with his student this last weekend in a Cape Cod skydiving accident. http://www.myfoxboston.com/story/26648470/skydiving-instructor-and-student-killed-in-accident-on-cape http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=4674104;sb=post_latest_reply;so=ASC;forum_view=forum_view_collapsed;;page=unread#unread I met and competed against Eldon in a number of swoop comps (PST and well as PacNW CPC comps) during the summer of 2006. Eldon definitely had a wild side to him. You could always count on him to go big or go home. But he was also fun guy to be around. Condolences to Eldons close friends and family. 19. I can't afford my dream car a Porsche 991 GT3 RS. I simply do not and likely will not ever have the $$$ unless I was to sell my house and live in the car to afford such a fine example of street legal race engineering. However I still have a lot of fun with the two vehicles I own. 1) My 1997 Porsche 993 C2 is only a medium speed Porsche. But I have tracked it, it is a great car on a race track (as seen here) and my 993 is the last year of the Porsche 911 air cooled engines. So this car maintains it's value, and in the not too distant future it should begin to rise in value. 2) My 2013 Jeep Wrangler JK Rubicon serves as a great tool for not only functioning as my daily winter driver, but it is also an incredible offroad machine. Three foot boulders in the middle of the trail? No problem-o. Just crawl over them with the Jeep. I never knew going 2 mph could be so much fun until I began to offroad my JK. PS: My two vehicles are iconic designs (the 911 and the Jeep) which at least on the surface have not gone through massive changes over the decades. 20. It was the same speech no matter what channel someone watched it on. Instead of worrying about what channel people tuned into, let's talk about the content of the speech and well it was pretty much a speech about nothing. It was a speech of talking points that contradicted each other. It was a joke ... anyone who believes in what was said during this speech might be interested in a really nice scenic beach front time share opportunity in Bangladesh during the months of June through October I have for them. 22. I'm not current right now, but I have my BASE # which means I have been off all four object types. I can think of only one time where I felt calm and cool thinking nothing was going to go wrong on my pending jump and ironically that was my one and only solo jump I made (Tombstone in Moab). In all my other jumps (including the safer jumps at the Perrine) I was always a little scared thinking to myself "Where did I go wrong in life, why am I here about to risk everything for this jump ... 3, 2, 1, cya). So why was I so cool on that one solo jump from the cliffs in Moab? It was because I purposely timed my arrival in Moab as I traveled from metro Denver CO to Eloy AZ where I thought I would encounter the most optimal weather conditions. My plan worked out perfectly, there I was in Moab, at the Tombstone exit point and the weather was perfect for the jump just as it was all planned. For some bizarre reason I just was not scared. But for all my other jumps, I was scared and of course being a little, but not too scared is probably a good sign. It shows that you are aware of the dangers. BASE is a weird sport. 23. I have no idea what you are trying to get at here. So the only thing that made sense to me was "I prefer Boobies". It is sort of the default position. When in doubt, go with the "Boobies" and to your credit, at least you remembered to include them in your poll. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  24. and yet the very same Liberals the late Trudeau SR lead made sure the government was deeply entrenched in the bedrooms of the nation. Of course it wasn't Trudeau SR who embedded the government into the bedrooms, it was one of his successors Alan Rock during the Chretien years who made sure that government was in the bedrooms. But Trudeau JR shows no signs whatsoever that government should be leaving the bedrooms. Of course Trudeau JR says only what his handlers tell him to say. Trudeau JR is a classic puppet politician. All glamor no substance. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
