  1. Sorry my bad. I hate them all ... politicians that is ... there is only one POTUS candidate who makes any sense because he is the only one who questions the Fed and Saudi Arabia's role in all the crap coming out of the ME. But we know that Rand Paul does not have a hope in hell in winning. In fact I am amazed he has not been assassinated yet. I guess he knows there is only so much boat rocking he is permitted to do. No the puppet masters behind the curtain are too busy having fun with all the partisan BS when they know damn well it does not matter who wins the POTUS office. The puppet masters always have and always will have the final say. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  2. Back in my day, when I went to school, my teachers taught us the 3 Rs. They also taught us a little history, some science and geography. Oh and we were allowed to burn off steam in gym class at least once a day and nobody was concerned about hurting little Johnny's feelings when John lost the game. Johnny had to learn that in life, you can't always get what you want. No in my day the teachers never tried to indoctrinate me into a Fabian Socialist ideology. They never tried to turn all those young and impressionable minds into politically correct, social justice warriors incapable of formulating independent thoughts. Oh how things have changed. Oh BTW ... does your messiah know that the Baltic States are real yet? What a fucking "um" idiot he is. Your messiah is definitely not smarter than a 5th grader. 3. I would like to see Rand Paul win. He's one of the few who has spoken out against Saudi Arabia and the Fed. But the puppet masters would never allow him to be the POTUS. So it's just a pipe dream. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  4. There is no major difference between the Donkeys and the Elephants. There is no major difference between Billary and Trump. They are all first class certified fuckheads. But they are also just puppets to the real world leaders. The central bankers and other billionaires who give their marching orders to the political puppets. What is sad is that many of the general public are too dumb or too partisan to recognize this. Yeah GWB was bad for the world. But under Obama it has gotten worse and there is no way in H ... E ... Double Hockey Sticks that things will be getting better under Billary or Trump or any of the other clowns trying to be the POTUS. One needs to turn off the consensus mainstream media (this includes Fox News) as they all have their agendas to push to the obtuse. One needs to seek out alternate media sources that slam both the Donkeys and the Elephants at the same time. They do exist. But even when you find a media source that slams both sides, you still need to take whatever they say with a grain of salt as they too could be pushing an agenda. We really are fucked. The world is changing fast and it is changing for the worse. The freedom to control your own destiny, the freedom to think on your own is rapidly being taken away from us. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  5. I don't think this is a repost as I searched for NVIDIA and did not find any recent matches. Anyway, you got to love Jeffro and the folks at Eloy who are not afraid to throw crazy things out of their airplanes in the name of fun and yes some TV Ad revenues. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  6. Dude this is a trolling thread. As Jakee rightfully already pointed out, this is something the media has invented. I don't think Trump is an idiot, but he let his guard down and now we have people like you trying to peddle this BS as if it is true. No Trump is not dumb enough to propose such a policy of requiring Muslims to be registered. But he is an arrogant asshole. However you are fooling yourself if you think any of the other clowns are any better. Have people not been paying attention to what has happened in the world in the last couple of decades, especially what is happening now in 2015. It does not matter who is in charge. They are all puppets to the elite ruling class. Yeah GWB was bad for the world. But the world has gotten even worse under Obama's watch. So much for the hope and change BS. So do you people honestly think the world will get better under Billary or Bernie Sanders or any of the other clowns on the Elephants side of the fence? We the middle class are rapidly losing the ability to control our own destiny, rapidly losing the ability to attempt to make a better life for ourselves and our families. The shit is really beginning to hit the fan as seen what is going on in Europe in 2015 and it's coming here to North America and there is nothing anyone of us can do to stop it since all the politicians are nothing more than self serving puppets to the elite ruling class. Best thing to do is to ignore the consensus mainstream media because they do nothing but peddle their snake oil and Wag the Dog. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  7. Complete utter bullshit. 60% of Canadians are not in favour of the Liberals plan to settle 25000 refugees by January 1st. You must be one of the 40% who is in favour of opening up our doors. oh before we get the usual nonsense of "that is a story from the corporate media". Remember Global News is the same organization who gave us the Trudeau Cabinet Trading Cards. At first when I heard about this, I thought "this has to be a joke, they can not be serious". But no it is on the level. Global News is showing us how in love they are with Trudeau and his Liberals that they wanted the public to download these political trading cards of theirs. Oh and before you break out your typical progressive tactics of "you are nothing more than a racist", it's not the refugees I am against. It's the fact that the whole process is being rushed. Ignore for a second the need to screen the migrants for security reasons. The Liberals plan to screen the migrants for preexisting medical conditions is a complete and utter joke. They are going to be spending less than five minutes medically screening each migrant applicant and this after the migrants are already in the country meaning even if there is something wrong with them, or they turn out to be a radicalized Islamist. It's too late. They are already in the country and under our present laws (which the Liberals would never dream of changing because they made them), there is no way to get rid of the sick or radicalized Islamists. So why the rush? Why not spend the necessary time on the other side of the world to ensure that each candidate is medically and socially compatible with our society before we invite them into our house. That is all that the most of the 60% majority is asking for. The majority of us who are in the majority contrary to what you may claim here are simply asking for the Liberals to slow down with their brain dead plan of bringing 25000 migrants into the country by January 1st. So spare us your pure and utter bullshit that you speak for Canadians. You don't just as I don't speak for Canadians. But as far as the refugees are concerned, my views are much more in line with the views of the majority of Canadians versus the views of the fools who support the selfie PM. PS: it remains to be seen which migrants we allow into the country. But Europe is in the middle of committing societal suicide right now. The vast majority of migrants flooding into Europe are not families fleeing war. The vast majority of the migrants are young men of military age. 8. Even under clear skies, it was going to be less than optimal conditions here in Western Canada. But clouds completely obscured the moon last night making it a non-event. So I will just have to be contempt in looking at photographs people took. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  9. The pronunciation of names is all over the map and is 100% irrelevant outside of trying to be a partisan dickhead. Do you insist that Brett Favre should be called Brett Fav-re? Because that is the way his is name is spelt. Or did you just accept him using the pronunciation he is known with using? Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  10. Family of grizzlies currently wandering Whitehorse subdivision 2 polar bears invade Nunavut family's campsite I like Bears and unnecessary killings need to be avoided when possible ... but they can be dangerous especially when they are hungry. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  11. In the story you referenced, the police were telling people who encountered Black Bears in Sudbury with their hockey sticks to "don't do it". Now a Black Bear while still dangerous is not as hostile as a Grizzly Bear or a Polar Bear would be. So yeah while it may not be the smartest thing to do, often the Black Bear will be more afraid of hostile hockey players (who's not afraid of hostile hockey players except other hostile hockey players), than the human would be afraid of the Bear. Years ago while Mountain Biking just outside of Golden BC I had a close encounter with a Black Bear on the trail and fortunately for me, it was more scared of me than I was of it. It didn't hurt that I was riding the bike downhill at great velocity when I came around the corner, slamming on my brakes to avoid Yogi's cousin on the trail. It might have been a different story if my encountered occurred while I was going much slower on an uphill slope. But I would not recommend chasing a Grizzly or Polar Bear with a hockey stick. That's just dumb. You can survive a Bear attack without a firearm by playing dead and hope the Bear isn't all that interested in you. But if the Bear attacks, a firearm could come in handy. Of course I have never packed while Mountain Biking. Oh and I also once had a close encounter with a Bull while Mountain Biking near Bragg Creek here in Alberta and I was much more scared of that Bull that I was with my Black Bear encounter. That Bull would have stomped me flat as a pancake if it wanted to. Fortunately after about a minute of staring at each other, it lost interest and went the other way. But watch out for the Cougars. They are relentless, especially if you are a young'ish 20 something year old male. Luckily for me Cougars are no longer interested in me. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  12. Anyone who believes the Universe was created in only 7 days, a mere 6000 or so years ago and that the entire universe was created for just humans on this planet in the image of their mythical flying spaghetti monster and that the only life in the entire Universe exists only on this one planet has a severe mental disorder and no amount of "Bless your Heart" BS will change how messed up the minds of these people are. BTW I am NOT an atheist. I am agnostic. There is a difference. There could very well be some sort of God or Gods who created the Universe. But I guarantee you, the God(s) created by humans on this planet are all 100% BS. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  13. America will truly be fucked if this is the case. Then again isn't much better here in Canuckistan. We could end up with an NDP government. Mostly likely just an NDP minority if they should win. But that's what was said in Alberta's election an NDP minority that turned into a majority. I am so sick of politics. They all suck. Some of course suck more than others. But make no mistake they all suck ass. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  14. As of late last night, I am now running Windows 10 on my 2 week old computer at home. The auto download process of the OS kept failing for whatever reason. So I manually downloaded it and even that took several attempts before all the necessary files could be properly downloaded and the upgrade launched. I had to laugh at one point last night attempting to download the files I received an errpr message from Microsoft mentioning "Something went wrong" and no other details. Huh? No shit something went wrong. That was my trigger to go do something else with my evening, Then a few hours later I returned to try again and that time it work. So far everything seems to work fine now that the OS is installed and running. But I am definitely acting as a guinea pig here being an early adopter. 15. Services are programs that run in the background on your computer and often launch when the operating system starts up. Sometimes services are the malware and sometimes they are vital apps needed for the computer to deliver ... hmmm ... services. Does the error message say what service failed? 19. My first computer was a Texas Instruments TI-99/4A with a cassette recorder as my storage device. Not mine, but it looked like this I picked it up when I was in school learning how to program computers. Did it help me? I guess so, sort of. I have been a professional software developer since December of 1984. Of course back then I didn't really know what I was doing. Far too many "goto's" in my Basic language spaghetti code applcations. But it didn't hurt having this computer. I had a friend who had the Commodore 16 at the same time and my TI-99/4A was more advanced than his Commodore 16 was. But then he upgraded to a Commodore 64 and I learned how fast computers became obsolete. Of course it did not take long for my friend's Commodore 64 to become obsolete with the 8086/8088s then the 286s, then the 386s, so on and so forth. 20. The guy is a major dipshit. If a lion attacks you, then yes shoot it in self defense. But this wasn't the case. On a somewhat related/unrelated note, as a child I remember watching the movie "Born Free" but I was pretty young at the time and I am not sure how much of the movie I really absorbed. But last month the movie replayed on my local cable TV classic movies station and I watched it. What a great movie this is from the mid 1960s era. The movie is based on the real life events of Joy and George Adamson who adopt three lion cubs after George is forced to shoot the cub's mother (in self defense). Eventually the cubs grew too big and the Adamsons had to give the cubs up. But Joy and the smallest cub Elsa the Lioness had this special bond with each other and the Adamsons kept Elsa and raised her. Of source even Elsa grew too big and the Adamson's were forced to either give Elsa up to a zoo or try the unthinkable and reintroduce Elsa back into the wild. Joy was persistent in her beliefs that Elsa should not be locked up in a cage for the rest of her life (hence the name of the movie "Born Free"). Many said it couldn't be done, and it took months, but they succeeded and Elsa was successfully reintroduced back into the wild and the following year the Adamsons met up with Elsa again in the Kenyan wild life reserve where Elsa mothered her own litter of cubs. Of course the movie does not mention this, but Elsa's life was cut short after only five years when she succumbed to Babesia felis, a tick-borne blood disease similar to malaria. I only bring this up because A) it is a fantastic story based on real people and a real lion and people should watch it if they get the chance ... and ... B) animals are a lot smarter than humans believe they are. Once again this dentist is a major dipshit for taking the life of such a fantastic creature. I am not anti-hunting when people hunt for food. But I am anti-hunting when it is only done for sport. Killing is not a sport. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

  22. Even though I am not a Yank, I answered honestly and no surprises. Political Parties: 1) Libertarian Party: 90% 2) Constitution Party: 87% 3) Republican Party: 81% 4) Democratic Party: 67% President: 1) Rand Paul: 87% 2) Marco Rubio: 83% 3) Rick Santorum: 73% ... 7) Billary Clinton: 66% ... 10) Donald Trump: 58% For the record I am a Social Libertarian (I promise I won't tell you how to live your life if you return the favor and let me live my life as I want to live it), but I am a staunch Fiscal Conservative and even before this survey was made available to us, I voted for Rand Paul in this poll with Marco Rubio a close 2nd. Everyone else ... I dislike them all, especially Billary and Trumpet. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  23. For sure once the turn starts there are moments where blind spots occur and space that appeared to be open in one moment of time can rapidly become occupied. Swooper friendly DZs need to place their swoop parks away from their other LZs to limit the conflicting traffic like when a low timer messes up their approaches. But the lower timers will always make mistakes as they learn to fly their canopies and we don't want them making low turns if their safety is in question. However with all that said, I think we can all agree that people not intending on swooping need to do their best to avoid the airspace in the vicinity of swoop parks. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
  24. It saddens me to say that I am a retired competitive swooper (I just could not stay current with my swooping ever since I moved back to the much short jump seasons here in Canuckistan), but as a former competitive swooper I can tell you that during our swoop comps we were often on separate loads than the rest of the DZ was on. So you can never assume if you are the last person on your load to land, that there isn't a group of jumpers just above you setting up. So going for the gates wasn't the smartest thing to do. But if you messed up your approach on this one jump you messed it up and it is much better for you to land in the safest possible area instead of doing something stupid like making a low turn to avoid the swoop park. The lower canopy always has the right of way and it is the responsibility of the swooper (even if they are in the middle of a competition) to make sure they abort their swoop if there is conflicting traffic. I know it was a pain in the rear end, but in all the swoop comps I was in, the swooper was given a do over if they had to abort their swoop due to traffic.
