3 pointsAnd your house burning down could be a once in a several decades event, yet if it does you actually want the fire service to do its job. You don't care how many training competitions they win, you want them to perform when it really matters. So not including the pandemic in a policy evaluation is actually exactly what a fool would do. Does it matter no large western democracy did it well? Many countries still did it well. You're just laying the foundations of making exactly the same mistakes when the next pandemic arrives.

1 pointI apologize, I often fail to make myself clear. I was hoping you'd take a moment away from writing for The Onion. That said, including the historical context of two Sundays ago and putting Tom Colicchio in parentheses certainly adds an air of authority. But it really wasn't necessary; if Leslie Stahl is reporting everyone is already sitting tall and taking notice.

1 pointI did dude. Called them 11pm on Friday night (9am NC time) but they are closed on Fridays. Called them 11pm yesterday which was the first time they were back in the office. In the meantime, I thought I'd ask for some advice from other people who may have some.

1 pointTo educate oneself more and try to understand the source of the issues better, to be a better informed consumer, before discussing it with the manufacturer? To piss off those who cry "Won't somebody think of the children?", I mean "Why didn't you contact the manufacturer first?" ?

1 pointI'm both a computer engineer and a medical doctor, and I'm completely lost as to the connection you're trying to draw here.

1 pointWell I made a few jumps in 2007 with my aim being my license. Well I injured myself (my fault) and baloon'd up to 275 lbs . Now I am on a mission to get back up in the sky in May of 2013 to go back for my license. I have already lost 16 lbs. I work out daily and have changed my diet completely. I can't wait to jump again. I have resolved to change my life and start skydiving again. I can't wait. Sincerely, Daniel (not as fat as he thinks he is) Adams http://www.skyjump.com http://www.vimeo.com/dandaninc http://www.youtube.com/dandaninc
